I have had 2 guitars serviced here and they did a really great job. I recommend Metro Music for guitar servicing. They have a nice selection of Canadian made guitars and other gear too.
A tiny selection of stuff, but if you’re a guitarist I would recommend checking it out! Staff is very kind and there’s a really cute dog there. I just wish they carried a bigger variety, or had a name that indicated it really only caters to guitarists.
Great service and excellent choice of instruments.
Tiny but what they do carry is of excellent quality and value. Bigger stores don't really care what they sell you as long as they sell you something. These guys seem to love what they do and seem to be genuinely concerned about having you walk out with a good playable instrument that's appropriate for your current skill level.
Had a great experience at Metro Music during an Ottawa visit this week. Been looking all over Toronto and Ottawa for Godin strings and this place finally stocked them! Great service and very nice staff.
Best place downtown for service and lessons if guitar is your instrument. Owner Danielle has a passion for guitars, which are mostly Canadian made by Godin. She's also an excellent teacher. Brad and others are also part of Metro Music's charm. And don't forget Blackhawk -- the wonder dog.
