As a regular customer at this store, I am deeply disgusted and humiliated by my experience today. I went in looking for a specific brand of breakfast sausages, which they didn't have, and I made sure to check with the meat department for assistance. However, as I was leaving the store, a staff member in front of the self-checkout asked me to open my purse as though I had stolen something.nnI complied, as I had nothing to hide, and showed him my purse, which contained two chocolate bars I had purchased earlier from IGA I had the receipt to prove it and a bottle of champagne I bought from the SAQ. Despite this, the staff member decided to open my bag in front of everyone, causing me immense embarrassment. He did not even offer an apology.nnThis entire experience has left me shaken and disappointed. I have been a loyal customer for a long time, but after this incident, I will definitely be reconsidering my future visits to this store
Usually the store is well stocked with a good variety of products, but yesterday when shopping around 18h or 6pm, the store was out of chicken thighs… it was very disappointing and I was forced to shop at the competition. Won’t be wasting my time here again
