One of the best destinations for good quality, fresh, oriental and cheap price food and groceries in Montreal. they also have nice comfy mezzanine food court seating where you can eat their delicious instore-made snacks and bakery. Staff very friendly and helpful. highly recommended
Questionable hygiene. The squid is touching the dirty area. The bread tongs continued to be used after falling on the floor. So so busy it gives me a headache.nnIt’s supposed to be a halal store i thought, but they had a brand of cheddar cheese that is not halal. I hope it was a mistake.nnIt’s nice they had a seating area for those buying meals. The bread tastes good and is fresh and cheap.
It was my first time going there this weekend. It was extremely crowded and very poorly organized. On top of that, the staff were very, very rude. They were speaking about me in Arabic, assuming I didn’t understand but I understood everything. They were literally insulting me. When I told them I understood Arabic, the woman replied with something like “that’s good” in a very mean way.
I purchased meat today, and it was ROTTEN. The smell was absolutely revolting and I had to trash it immediately. This isn't just a quality issue; it's a serious health and safety hazard. I will never shop here again.
Great place to buy mergez, beef, fish and vegetables/fruits etc. Swordfish steaks as usual fresh and juicy.
