I’m glad to see a new Chinese grocery store in the LaSalle area. So far, the cashiers have been friendly, and the interior is clean, well-organized, with reasonable prices. It would be even better if they had a hot food stall like other nearby Chinese grocery store.
Lots of Asian, Caribbean, South American, and African products, along with the usual staples. Was very pleased to see deli-style pickles there as well as some fine cheeses. I enjoy discovering new food, but I also need to stock up on staples and this place seemed to have both! Good selection of produce and nice quality compared to the Maxi I was going to before. The rack of discount produce still looks decent and not all rotten like at cheap grocery stores. Aisles are clean and well stocked. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I went on a weekday afternoon and there were cashiers working the tills, not just self-serve very welcome if you're shopping with young children and need help packaging your things!. Parking was fine when I went, but I imagine it could get crowded on a weekend. It's the spring now and they have some seedlings outside for purchase as well!nnOverall I'm impressed with the variety of products and the cleanliness of this store and will be coming back for my regular shopping!
I've been waiting for a chance to check this store out and I am very disappointed that it took me so long to get there. I should have dropped in the week they opened!nThey have fantastic prices to the point I hesitate to indicate here for fear they will be inundated with customers and there will be nothing left for me. LolnnFresh salmon fillets for $4.99 chicken wings for $1.79/lb!!! Beautiful quality ground beef for $2.49/lb!!!!! To top it off, excellent fresh strawberries from Ontario that are sweet and juicy all the way through at two containers for $1.98. These are unbeatable prices!nnNot to mention an excellent selection of every Asian condiment I can think of. Finally a grocery store that not only has quality soy sauce, black vinegar and Chinese cooking wine on the shelves but a large selection of each to choose from!nnI will definitely be back and have already told my friends about this wonderland.
Compared to what was here before it is night and day. The owner actually cares and we can see it in the way they clean and take care of the store. They have good specials also. One thing I hated before is that the managers and owners parked their big fancy cars in front of the store like some mob and it was ugly ... this is a residential neighborhood we do not want bullies... be nice and be good at business. I think Btrust is, but only time will tell. For now, I recommend.
18/05/2024 This grocery store was so clean and organized. The aisles were wide enough for traffic in both directions. Lots of produce, fresh meats and fish with good deals. There was ample parking for a Saturday afternoon but I would be concerned when it gets very busy.
