Some good gluten free stuff, and they’re not bound to the “Presidents Choice handcuffs”, so a broader selection of product for food. Based on my experience I wouldn’t expect low prices here - in fact prices are as bad or in some cases worse than Loblaws, which is just on the other side of a train bridge. The plaza is one of the busiest in Toronto and can often be unpleasant to navigate, especially if there are deliveries with large trucks blocking the entrance.

Metro generally offers fresh groceries and the quality of food is high. I wouldn't necessarily visit Metro to shop that often due to the price, however. Some sale items are fine for example, strawberries at $2.44, but notice the non-sale price is $6.99. Note that for what appears to be a small portion, a tightly packed container of food can be over $20 $24.90/kg + 13% HST.
