We have 10 motel rooms and 11 RV full hookups!

Story

The Mermaid Inn started in 1953 as the Sand Lo Motel. The motel acquired the Mermaid statue that greets as you drive in about 20 years ago when the city was going to destroy her due to vandalism of her when she lived downtown. The motel name was changed shortly after acquiring her. We have 10 very clean, well cared for rooms.

SO SO Impressed! My husband and I stayed here last weekend and we will be back for sure! We got in a little late Friday and were greeted by the managers and their cute dog. The room was spacious and extremely clean as well as the bathroom. We normally stay at the Best Western down the street (which is almost three times as expensive) but it was all booked up so we found this place and I can honestly say I have found our new place to stay! Very friendly, not a peep at night and our own parking spot.. nice! Who doesn't love mermaids?! Thank you again for making our anniversary extra special.

Great place, rooms are cute and homey (one correction when it says pet friendly it is licensed service animals only, unless you're in the RV part) and my service dog was quite comfortable and happy, and we appreciate the family atmosphere of the management definatly will come back.

Very clean, very organized and a cute, nice place to stay. I will definitely recommend it!!

When we arrived at the establishment we were greeted by the owner and he was very kind. I pulled my trailer to the vacant site that I preferred and went back to the counter and paid. The grounds were very clean and tidy. The washrooms and shower were clean. Nice place and will return to stay again.

Super cozy feeling here, and great staff. Adorably decorated, comfortable and clean.
