Inn At Discovery Coast

This place is such a beautiful and calming getaway. The room was modern and clean. The patio was perfect as it looked right out onto the ocean. Th inn is set off away from the hotel and restaurant itself to make it an even better private getaway experience. The breakfast basket in the morning if you choose to have delivered, was fresh and just the right amount of food for a couple. The inn also offers bikes if you'd like to borrow them for a stroll. Definitely a favorite of ours.

Don't want to leave! Nicely renovated rooms have a modern look versus the more aged look of many other beach hotels. There are only 9 rooms, no kids, so it's pretty quite and relaxing. The beach is a short walk. They don't have flood lights off the hotel so you can sit on the deck and see the stars. Pets are allowed on the first floor, with pet fee. Only con is the trendy barn doors can be a bit noisy when trying to be quite.

We stayed in the Beach Loft. The room was very clean and in a very convenient spot. We were brought breakfast both mornings we were there. Good stuff: fruit, yogurt, juice, and really yummy warm scones. The beach and trail are rock-throwing distance. The tub in the room is great. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we were able to just text if we needed anything or had any questions. All-in-all it was a great stay and we will be back soon. ☺️

Nice clean rooms, in my opinion overpriced for the room and amenities. They advertised memory foam mattresses. They have regular mattresses similar to low budget hotels. Very hard, slept rough. Took pictures to verify. If you eat at the pickled fish, beware, they add 20% automatically to the bill. Don't understand that mentality. The food was good but not over-the-top.

Wonderful just a blast...romantic...fun...enjoyed it all. Beach was right there.
