Great local sandwich shop in downtown Kingston. Friendly staff and good quality ingredients. Lots of sandwich options with indoor and outdoor seating. It can get busy during lunch times so go early if possible!
We love a good pressed sandwich, if you do - this stop is a must try! We tried the heavy metal has a little spicy kick and casino Queen - both were delicious! Enjoyed the Mandarin and walnut salad. Cream of broccoli salad was good as well. Give it a try!! Friendly staff
Awesome sandwich with generous topping, and the guy maybe owner I dont really know greet me with a warm voice. It took time for me to decide as this is my first time coming, but I was able to figure out what I want, a Kingpin pulled pork sandwich and I add avocado and mushroom. The sandwich is beyond expectation, soft and delicate, I always add avocado in my sandwich whenever possible and this is the first place in Kingston I see it. Pork is nicely cooked, juicy and soft. Will try to comeback as much as I can since I work morning weekday and they only open until 3:30pm.
I travel to Kingston very often and always do a pitstop at this place. The ambient is cozy...Sandwiches are amazing and prepared with love. Our favourites are their iconic pulled pork "Kingpin" and the pesto-based "At least that's what you said". Only downside is they close during weekends but I guess it's for the amazing owners who run everything to recharge ;
The Kingpin hit the spot. Juicy pork, silky caramelised onions, zingy jalapeños, and justttt enough cheese make this a pretty sweet sandwich. Next time I’d skip the cucumber mint salad and try a different one.
I am new to Kingston and just discovered this gem of a shop today. The guys were so nice and gracious. And the food! Honestly, one of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time. I couldn't believe the weight of it when he handed me the bag. Delicious and huge servings. Will be a regular go to for lunch.
We were a family from out of town visiting Kingston. Loved our lunch, the sandwich was so tasty, the grilling was not something you see a lot of, but it was totally delicious. We all had different sandwiches and every one of them was soooo good! Highly recommend this deli, and would come back to Kingston when on the 401just to have an amazing lunch. The staff was very nice and honest about the wait time which was very refreshing to hear these days!
The kingpin is all time favorite! The pork was juicy with smoked smell Soup was also nice
If you are expecting to have filled, good quality sandwiches, it’s not here. The sandwiches were barely filled. It was mostly bread you were eating. If you didn’t consume right away they become soggy very quickly. On the upside, the atmosphere was very nice! It was a sandwich shop from the movies.
Probably the best sandwich I've ever had. The owners are nice guys and recognise returning customers and welcomes them back. I was sitting eating my sandwich seeing how they are connected with the community and make an effort to get to know their customers. Awesome local sandwich shop I will be back.Food: 5/5
