Came in to the walk in clinic asking if they have any openings. I was told that they are doing phone call appointments only, which I agree to because I have severe back pain and wanted to get a referral to get it checked out. I was told I would be called between 3-4:30PM and didn’t get a call at all. I called the office the next day to see what had happened, followed the prompts to speak with staff, and was told that extension did not exist and that the voicemail box was full. A complete waste of my time.
Very disappointed … we’ve been there few times with different problems …. I have to many to say but I’ll try to be short -my son was coughing bad -the doctor said he’s fine…. It’s just a flu, gave us no prescriptions, next day we went at the hospital… they told me my son has asthma -again with my son , infection coming out from his ears …. He gave us ear drops… few hours later my fam doctor gave us antibiotic- my son had otitis Unfortunately we had few more other negative experiences in there…. The doctor is gentle but he never told us anything, he’s always on the run, he’s spending 5 min with every patient, I never had the chance to say or ask something …after u wait at least 1 h to SEE The doctor… they are always late :
Dr. Kelly is great! The receptionist seems to hate her job and has a hard time greeting people, making eye contact or getting off her chair to guide patients to the appropriate rooms. Dr. Kelly once again though is worth it! And he’s the only Dr. here, so you will always get the same doctor! Also, for a walk in, they take appointments and are very easy to get in. My gp can take weeks to get into, Dr. Kelly one day! Although the last time I went with at appointment, I waited an hour and didn’t end up leaving the clinic for another hour. 2 hours is a bit ridiculous for an appointment.
Absolutely horrible experience I feel bad for anyone who’s experienced the unprofessional and rude encounter with the receptionist, I was a new patient too so you would think it’s gonna be great and they care about customer service but no she needs to be fired , awful personality and if your going to be a receptionist have some class and be more friendly and actually care for your patients! Never coming again :
The receptionist didn't even look at me when spoken to. So so rude, and how accurate will the diagnose be if it is over the phone???? Very dissappinting in our medical system. But in this clinic I wouldn't set foot again, it doesn't deserve 1 star!
Dr Cohan is awful, he will prescribe you anything for mental health even if you’ve been on it for years, and when he agreed to prescribe me my usual thing, he only faxed my vitamin and not the other thing, but refused to mention that he didn’t want to. I had to go to the clinic after the pharmacy denied me, just to find out he never prescribed it but told me he did. Very disappointed, how unprofessional.
A few years back I Would have told you that this is the best walk-in clinic I have been to to date.I felt like the office was efficient and Dr Kelly took very good care of me and actually cared. I understand a lot of things have gone down in the pandemic i.e. customer service wait times etc. I have completely boycotted this office due to the fact that the receptionist, which I have noticed said a few people have already commented on, is extremely rude incompetent and talks over you. It’s really unfortunate especially considering there are no family doctors in the lower mainland available for people.
This place is hilariously terrible. I made an appointment online good luck getting them to answer the phone. I got in, gave my name, they said have a seat. Shortly after, a dude comes in saying he has an apt for the exact same time with the same doctor. Fantastic. I wait for about 45 minutes past the apt time so does he when I go back up and ask how long it will be. She tells me she has no record of my apt, and asks me my name. I wasn’t even on the list… when she told me to sit earlier I figured she had my info from the online booking but she didn’t. And she didn’t let me know. I get that their jobs must be difficult working through the last two years, with people being rude probably on a regular basis. But they have no baseline decency or competence. It’s a disaster in there.
Well today June 3rd I walked to the medical clinic checked out whether it was open seeing the receptionist there on the laptop and the door was closed at the time they were supposed to be open. I have called all day to set up a walk-in or an appointment she doesn't answer the phone and the mailbox is full and then the phone hangs up wonderful.
Called in to get a prescription for some on-going health issues and found out that Dr Karl Kelly was no longer there. Needless to say, was told to find a new GP and that no further prescriptions could be full filled. Doc just said, I'll submit a 3month prescription while you find a new GP... thanks for keeping me alive for another 3 months!
