Mercato West

Had a wonderful lunch today! The food was fabulous and the servers were cheerful! We will definitely come back again! They also have a great selection of foods to take home! Everything from pasta dishes, pizza including pizza dough, deli meats, sauces and cheeseand desserts!

The mussels were the star of this dinner. The shrimp was well done but the sauce was a little sour. The octopus was a bit more sour than we expected as well and the cauliflower/kale dish was mouth puckeringly sour. The pasta was good, normally I'm not a gnocchi fan, but this one was nice and soft. Is it just me, or is the drink menu here extremely limited? Service was great, he was friendly and attentive and took the cauliflower off the bill.

Loved it. I was fortunate to eat at Mercato Mission so I was excited to eat at Mercato again. The food was outstanding and consistent between the two restaurants. Amazing pastas and meat. The Negroni was spot on and great service. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Calgary. You can't go wrong, definitely will go back again when I visit Calgary.

The food here was top notch. The pasta was cooked perfectly aldente and the flavor was truly out of this world. Dessert was also spectacular, which is to be expected when you have a pastry chef making them. The service was even better than the food was and we had an amazing time. 10/10 would definitely recommend for a night out with excellent food and service, though it is a bit on the pricey side

Surprised to see an Italian family style dining restaurant in Calgary! The premise has the restaurant on one side and marketplace on the other. The tables in the restaurant are nicely spaced apart. There is a cooking pot right in the middle. Huge wine selection too. Overall food flavor is good and the ingredients are fresh. May be it was busy when I visited but some of the menu items could have been prepared better . The risotto was a bit undercooked. The mixed grill meat, particularly the chicken was overgrilled. Server very knowledgeable and friendly.

Delicious food. Ambience was great too and we got to watch the chefs in action since we sat at the bar. Ordered the linguine and tagiatelle, and the pastas were fresh and had an al dente bite to it. Best part of the meal in my opinion were the mussels cozze loved the sauce that they were cooked in! Only thing that was subpar were the brussel sprouts. Expected a little more crispiness to it. Such a lovely experience overall.

This is a great restaurant located centrally . Food was amazing , real authentic Italian . We ordered Rissoto, gnocchi , fungi , tiramusu and pastry stuffed with cream. Everything was great . Amazing staff service . Great ambience . I will surely visit this restaurant again

Food is always high quality,well tasted all . Friendly and amazing services. High recommend.

We love love love the pasta and the steak so much. Francois our server was a very friendly and jolly person he helped us pick the best food to to order than can be shared for 4. The patios is well setup is very neat. There's some heaters than you can request if you're feeling cold. Will definately repeat

The young lady who served us was super nice and funny. We had a real good time and the food is like in Italy! Best pizza in Calgary, no kidding! We bought some goddies like cheese, bread and olive oil. I can't complain about anything top notch! Cheers
