Avenue 16 Kitchen & Bar

We were served by this restaurant for 4 days during our last visit to Calgary and every service was a delight. I promised Beryl that I would mention her name in my review, she's such a blessing to the restaurant. Mr Dan and his other team members were also very homely and professional. The food? Perfect always!

I had breakfast here because we stayed at the hotel. The buffet looked good but I chose something unique from the menu cooked salmon and capers on an English muffin with poached eggs - never had it before and it was amazing! Service was exceptional. It was a great relaxing start to the day. What a nice find. Breakfast hours aren’t posted but they are from 06:30 to 10:30 bye the way.

I stopped in to have a quick bite while my wife was having a massage at the spa. The decor was nice. However, there was no one at the door to greet you. The lounge area isn't equipped for disabled people as every table is raised, so I had to sit in the restaurant side. The first thing, I noticed was there was only a handful maybe 3 couples in the entire restaurant. The staff were sitting at a table in conversation, given that it was slow, ok. When I sat at the table, I noticed it was kind of sticky, as though the same cloth is used on every table without being rinsed in between. And the upholstery on the chairs need to be renewed. During my hour long visit, I only had one staff member check on me at the beginning, and then I never saw them again. In fact, I had to hunt someone down to get my bill. The food is excellent, no doubt. But the customer service could use an improvement in attentiveness, though they were polite.

Came in for a what appeared to be a good lunch. Ordered a cheese burger and when I tried to bite into it I couldn’t. It was extremely chewy and slightly undercooked. The pasta that my friend ordered was also undercooked slightly. Also the server took awhile to come see us at times even when there was only 2 or 3 other tables busy in the restaurant. I would not recommend the cheeseburger or pasta, maybe even just avoid the restaurant in general.

We had never been here before and stopped in as a result of its close proximity to where we were and decided to give it a try. At first glance we weren't sure what to think, the environment was clean and nicely decorated and inviting. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best I've ever had. The service was incredible and portion sizes were absolutely perfect. We will definitely be stopping there again on our next visit through Calgary. 5 stars Avenue kitchen and bar!

Came here as we stayed at the hotel the evening before. The quality of food and service both surprised me. We had the buffet as well as the menu and both we satisfying! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return!

What a great place to eat while staying in the Four Points. Multiple times at this restaurant, over the years and I believe the food is a little better than last year. The food was very good and the local craft beer has a good variety. Great Traveler Restaurant/Grill/Lounge, with nice views of Canada Olympic Park from 1988 Olympics. I believe the prices are fair and that's what is important when traveling. Thanks .....

Awesome nachos. The guacamole is to die for. All staff is super. All around good place. I've been working in the area this has been my dinner spot for a couple of weeks always awesome.

We were pleasantly surprised, everything we had was delicious. Dry ribs, steaks, butter chicken, wow it was 10/10 on point. Compliments to the chef. Alina was a great server too.

An unexpected gem! We were exhausted from our flight to Calgary and we didn't want to leave the Four Points hotel, so we thought we'd give Avenue 16 a try. I had Nasi Goreng, an Indonesian fried rice dish. The serving was huge and the food was delicious and satisfying. My hubby had the ribeye steak and really enjoyed it. I had a couple of bites and thought it was very tender and tasty. The restaurant itself is relaxed and casual, perfect for kicking back and enjoying a meal. Would definitely recommend and visit again! Dietary restrictions: They accommodated a celiac restriction with gluten free options.
