Ok. Everyone’s right. This place is great! Reminds me of the dough we had when we were in Italy. Will definitely be going back. The food truck pickup in the back alley is a little weird. But I’d be doing it again! We had the prosciutto & arugula and the house special. Both great. Want to try the others now too!

My favorite pizza, full stop! Ingredients are so fresh and crusts are amazing. Love the concept of the backyard pizza truck. Ordering and pickup is seamless and always on time. The pizza is not cut before putting into the box so it's not soggy by the time you get it home. Happy to support local and this wonderful family.

If you are spending your money anywhere else, you're making a big mistake. Savino's is the one and only true authentic Neapolitan pizza here in Calgary. Waiting to get our pizzas at the food truck, we were overwhelmed with the scents of burning Applewood logs and fresh fior de latte mozzarella, and we got to see the cherry tomatoes that grow right in his garden. I love his pizza so much and would have it every day if I could. Thank you Savino!!

Outside of this little place in Italy, this is the best pizza we've had. The dough of the pizza has got a nice chew and bounce and it's beautifully baked. Our favourite was the House Special. As a lot of other reviewers mentioned, the location in a residential area at first seemed strange. However, once you've tasted thr pizza that's easy to get over. Savino is everything a pizzzeria should be. The service is fantastic, the ingredients are fresh, and the pizzas are cooked to perfection in a wood fire pizza oven. This is the place to go in Calgary for neapolitan pizza, but even if that's not usually what you like or if you don't even really know what that is, you don't want to miss Savino Pizzeria. P.S. The saporito bread is a remarkable treat. I snacked on it on the way home to hold myself over. Will get it every single time going forward.

I have found a hidden gem and it’s right around the corner! We decided to try something new and googled best pizza in Calgary and this was first on the list! We devoured this pizza and wanted more! The flavours were amazing, pizza was made with fresh ingredients and the crust was . We will definitely be ordering from here again, I will be spreading the word!

This is the best neopolitan pizza I've had outside Italy. The tomato sauce is glorious. The crust is as good as it gets. This is our pizza place now. It's a food truck so you pick up and take it home or have it delivered.

We loved it, our guests loved it. Would hire Savino Pizzeria again in a heartbeat, and will recommend to anyone looking for a fun and tasty way to feed a crowd and to anyone just looking for dinner!.

I can see why this place has exclusively 5 star reviews! It is worth the hype. We just ordered a margherita and a New Yorker added mushrooms and tomatoes. My wife and I both loved them. The crust is magical and the cheese tastes like it’s very high quality. The prices are quite reasonable too! If you haven’t had Savino’s before please do yourself a favour and order it ASAP!
