Sepino Italian Grill

We went here for Pasta night on Tuesday. The guy at the pasta bar was not particularily nice or friendly... but the pasta was decent. Not good enough that we'd go back but not bad where I'd complain about it. We both ordered a small pasta each and that is definitely enough food! The service though... was literally the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. We walked in and the waitress was just standing at the bar. We were confused whether this was self-seating or not. We asked her if we can sit anywhere, she said we could. So we sat down and waited for her to bring us menus and take her drink order. She didn't come, we had to go up to her and ask her if we could have our water and beer and that we wanted the pasta bar. Also, the restaurant wasn't packed at this time so there really was no excuse for her lack of service. We went to the pasta bar and ordered our pasta and went back to our seat. We saw that our pasta was done... but they were just sitting there on the counter. Again, we were confused as to whether we were supposed to go and get them ourselves or she was supposed to serve us. We got up and got them ourselves because she was just way too slow or she was never going to get them in the first place?. We had to ask repeatedly for another water and finally, my boyfriend got up and went up to the bar to get it himself. The food wasn't so outstanding that the waitress could have gotten away with this behavior. It annoys me because I'm sure she just expected her 15 - 20% tip even though I think tips should be earned. I was actually kind of embarrassed her in the end because, well, if you can't do something simple like seat customers, then there's probably not much else in life you can do competently. And she seemed completely oblivious to the fact that she was doing such a poor job. Or she was just apathetic about it. All in all, do not recommend this place. Food was alright, generous servings... but non-existant service.
