Story

Meow! Boutique is located in the old doctor's house at the corner of King and Bridgeport, in Uptown Waterloo. The store was established in 2011 by antique & vintage sellers Kara and Bryan Munn, and later taken over in 2015 by Wendy & Melissa, Honours Fine Arts graduates sharing a fine eye for fashion.

The store's iconic strutting logo was created by graphic novelist Seth using his distinct sharp lines and bold colours, with an element of movement and animation.

We look to the old days when going to work or going out for the evening took equal care and pride. We provide an elegant shopping experience for a varied range of customers, playing classics like Billie Holiday or Glenn Miller to whisk you away to a time of romance and glamour as you peruse vintage velvets and shimmering sequins. We feature pieces from the 1930s all the way to preloved items from modern day. Everything is handpicked by Wendy and Melissa. We also carry jewellery, bags, cards and gifts, plus an ever-rotating stock of art prints, housewares and accessories.

We have a party room, an accessories room and a casual room, so no matter your occasion, you will find a piece to add excitement and wonder to your closet. We do have a mission, and it's to create a magical shopping experience at affordable price points.
