Had a great time here. We first went so we could try Acadien Poutine and some Acadien desserts, which were very good. We ate in and found it to be cozy.nnFor dinner, we decided to go back for a lobster club and fish and chips. We took those back to our hotel room and both were also very good.nnOnly thing I would suggest for improvement is some signs in English about what an Acadien Poutine really is there are signs in French
If you're looking for a dining experience that never disappoints? Look no further than Le Menu Acadien! This has become a yearly tradition during our visit in the area. Great food, generous portions, and top-notch service at this must-visit restaurant. Make Le Menu Acadien a stop if you are in Shediac your taste buds will thank you!
Lots of the menu items were sold out by the time we came.nnWe wanted to try the Acadian food. We ordered the fish cake, potato pancake, pinwheels dessert, and the Acadian chicken fricot soup.nnWe also ordered the lobster roll and the poutine quebecois the fries, gravy and cheese curdsnnTotal cost is $47.44.nnThe pinwheels dessert is like a thicker donut with a sweet sauce on top. The potato pancake is yummy and great with butter. The soup is alright. The fish cake was interesting and different. The lobster roll has a white sauce at the bottom of the roll. The lobster tasted salty. The poutine tasted like the standard poutine.nnThe lobster roll is $15 here. Probably one of the cheaper places to get lobster roll.nnThe seating area is very small, 6 seating/table booths. You order first and they bring you your food.nnThey only make a set amount of food items like the poutine rapee... So they said that you can call in the morning and ask them to leave 1 aside for you to pick up later.nnWe went in June, and they're only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and closes at 7 pm.nnWe were deciding whether we wanted to come to Menu Acadian or the Acadian restaurant in Moncton to try Acadian food. We decided on Menu Acadian cause it was on the way to where we're going and they had a more extensive Acadian food menu.
Extremely pleasant surprise to find this place! My first adventure trying poutine râpée was great, the server was very helpful, the poutine à trou was delicious, and the portions were generous. Added bonus: the washrooms were SPOTLESS.Highly recommend checking out this gem.
Can tell about the food but the mini golf is terrible the base is always in an angle so no matter how good you are the ball will go down far from the hole. The hole it self is higher than the base so the ball goes away from it .nI do not recommend it if you like mini golf.
