I loved the atmosphere. It was more busy for a Sunday night than I thought it would be. Also, you could tell our waitress was new. However, I didn't regret having my birthday dinner there. The food was amazing. 5 stars to the chef.

Food was Incredible. Ribeye Steak was a cut above the rest and well worth the money spent. Bartender made the perfect gin cocktail and customized it to a better fit by the second drink as per my wife. Nice atmosphere with a Classy/Casual feel. We definitely will return.

Nice place. I went there with friends, the waitress accommodated me, well more like the cook, but she asked for me. She was able to guide me and help me choose foods. I put 4 stars instead of 5 because when we were having desserts, two guys started to sing and their music was loud. I couldn't hear my friend across the table.

Went here for my birthday dinner and was so glad we did. We shared an appetizer of escargot stuffed mushroom caps. Not very healthy but we each had a delicious taste. I had the steak & frites and the steak was cooked exactly as I asked, rare. Hubby had the seafood pasta and he really enjoyed it. We don't usually have dessert but we asked for the butter pecan cheesecake to take home and it was to die for !!!! Service was excellent !! We have a cottage close by and we will definitely be back.

5 stars for an amazing patio and good food! We come here regularly over the summers and I just found out this summer that this restaurant is open all year round even though we might not be enjoying the patio in the winter. If you're looking for something new, try the beet and goat cheese salad. Definitely our favorite!

We used to love going to the Shediac Gate, very convenient location for us, great people working there, good food and great atmosphere...but in the last few months is seems like they must have made changes to the kitchen personnel, because the quality of the food has gone way downhill. The last 3-4 times we have gone, we have been very disappointed with the quality of the food, both in terms of the fact that the recipes or preparation methods have changed, but also the inconsistency from one week to another. We thought we would give it one last shot by just ordering chicken wings, and even those were a disappointment compared to their previous standards.

We were a group of 9. We made reservations in advance. Our server had only us to take care of in a section of the restaurant away from everyone else. We placed our orders promptly: appetizers were lobster potatoe skins, wings & escargot. The escargot was excellent. The wings were ok, just little deep fried wings with sauce on the side. The potatoe skins were only 3 halves to a plate with 3 lobster bites on top. They serve forgot to order the skins, and only brought them after our dinner was served. Dinner special that night was lobster ravioli or lobster roll. Both were ordered and disappointing. The ravioli was just 2 pieces of pasta on the bottom of the plate with the rest of the ingredients and sauce poured on top. There was more lobster on top of the potatoe skins than in the lobster roll special. Shameful. The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. The accompanying garlic mashed potatoes were very strong. The Ceasar salad was delicious. The price was $365.00 for as described above. The keg was less, and much better service but in Moncton.

The food and drinks were delicious but we feel a little bit uncomfortable.. it looked like they wanted us to leave soon by removing and asking alot of times "are you done".. because they want that table for other people.and they brought us the bill without asking.. And we wanted to stay to heard the music. My friends and I we feel descriminated.. we are not canadians.. we are proudly mexicans and philippins and we are going to think 2 times before going again to this place

We went for supper me and my mother-in-law. We both had the Atlantic Losbter Mac'N'Cheese and it was a-ma-zing!! Great portion, fair amount of lobster not like everywhere else, where you have one piece and that's about it and super tasty. On the top of it, we had the nicest waitress ever! Thanks STG Shediac, you never seem to disappoint. ** Also, the calamari is super good too as an entry plate!

I had a piece of fish but asked them to swap out veggies for the fries and they gladly did so. The meal was fabulous and waiter attentive :-
