Too bad a negative rating is not available for these reviews as Memory Express does not deserve one star. I purchased a mouse 11Aug2022, within two weeks I noticed the mouse was not tracking properly. I spent lots of time researching the issue, reinstalling, completing updates, etc. I could not get the mouse to work properly. I found the time to return to Memory express 09Sep2022. Their technicians could not confirm the issues I was experiencing with the mouse. They would not replace it as they said it was passed the 2 week warranty. 2 week warranty? REALLY? I was advised they would ship the mouse to the manufacturer to determine if there were any issues and that the manufacturer would determine the next step. By 05Oct2022 I still had not been advised of the progress so I phoned Memory Express where the first employee could not help me where I was transferred to another employee who said he would look into it and call me back shortly stating 15 minutes or so. That day passed without any contact from Memory Express so I phoned the next day and spoke to Brad the general manager who said Memory Express is waiting to hear back from the manufacturer on their findings. I stated this was ridiculous to have to wait this long for a resolution to the issue. I said for a $40 mouse this is the process to rectify an issue such as this? Brad said whether a $40 mouse or a $2,000 computer it is out of Memory Express hands as the manufacturer has to provide them with a response to the issue. Brad told me they will contact me with an answer once they hear back from the manufacturer who may decide to provide me with a refurbished product or a refund of the money. I did not purchase a refurbished mouse so I wanted a new mouse if the mouse I purchased is in fact defective. I advised I had sold my house and was moving to another province within a couple of weeks where Brad said due to my circumstances he would get a resolution to the issue sooner than later. 54 days later on 29Nov2022 I received a phone call stating the manufacturer has confirmed the product is faulty and they will mail me a new replacement. It took 81 days for Memory Express to resolve the issue of the $40 mouse, really? Then having to wait a few more days for Memory Express to courier the new replacement mouse. They kept stating they cannot do anything as it is up to the manufacturer. No, it is not that they COULD NOT do ANYTHING but they CHOSE NOT TO DO ANYTHING for the customer. I do not recommend anyone purchase anything from Memory Express as the customer service is severely lacking.
Needed a new power supply so I talked to the guys there and they gave me some recommendations on what to do when replacing one. While I did my best, I couldn't quite rewire my PC well enough to get it to work, so I brought it in for them to look at it and the guys there were able to solve my issue and explain my mistake in minutes. 10/10 would recommend. Mike was awesome.
Great experience at the store today. Would 10/10 recommend going to see Sam. He is extremely knowledgeable, and very friendly. Made our experience totally worth the hour drive. He hooked us up with exactly what we needed, even if it was right before closing time.
Went here to get a new CPU, motherboard, as well as AIO and other parts/fans. Price was competitive. I came back as I was having some issues/questions about my pc that I built, brought my PC there. I was totally willing to pay for some rush service to help me get it fixed, even if it was a quick fix. Person there just assumed that I wasn't wanting to pay and helped me but didn't want to, and was condescending. Another service member who was watching came over to help as the other person walked away, and took his time to help me out and resolve all my issues. First service member is the reason I gave 4/5 stars.
Memory Express has been helping me build and upgrade computers for over five years. The staff are very helpful and friendly! Highly recommend for any computer or peripheral needs!!
Always friendly and helpful service. Great pricing, especially if you watch for sales and discounts. Free parking on-site. Pro tip: Memory Express shares a building with other tenants - use the south door to enter their suite.
its rare to find a company now a days that's number one priority is customer satisfaction and has great leadership, memory express is thee only place i go to for my computer needs they always go above and beyond.
A week before Christmas a computer I ordered online moved the deliver date back 3 weeks and Memory Express was there to bail me out. They sold me the parts to build an awesome computer and when I had a problem I came in on boxing day and the techs took the time to help me solve the problem. The store was quite busy and they still went way beyond what could be expected on one of the most hectic days of the year. 5 stars from me and a loyal customer!
Absolutely amazing staff and always have stock. Always the best prices and price match. Everyone is super friendly and very knowledgeable!
Not happy with their warranty service. I bought two MSI 32" curved monitors for gaming. Both are setup side by side. Both had good clear, bright, great color display. A few months later, one of my monitor blue color isn't as vibrant and display isn't as bright as it was before. I paid $599.99 for this monitor and expect good performance from this monitor for a long time. When I brought the monitor to Memory Express, they compared my gaming monitor to their front counter cheap monitor. The sales associate said he couldn't see the issue. The sales associate said they will have a tech run some test on the monitor and will get back to me later. A couple days later, they called me back and said they found nothing wrong. When I brought it home, I still have the same issue. Keep in mind, I tried different DVI cables, used HDMI cables, did factory reset and tried to calibrate the monitor ON BOTH MONITOR but still can't have the monitors match to my other monitor. Extremely not happy with Memory Express and now refuse to buy their products until this issue is fixed.
