I came in with a stripped screw on the bottom case of my laptop. Cameron and another staff fixed it in less than 10 minutes, they even replaced the screw free of charge. They could have easily charged me for the quick service, but they just sent me on my way. If you want a professional, honest, and an affordable place for repairs, this is the place.
Amazing service! I'm not the best at computers and I bought one from here. The man David really knows his stuff. Showed me how to use everything before I felt. Had everything ready for me all I had to do was plug it in when I got home! 100% recommend here over any other big box stores!
Cameron was super helpful, friendly, and informative. Got me exactly the right screws and took the time to give tips on building my first PC that I didn’t even think about. CDC have gained a customer for the foreseeable future.
My 2007 Office Word quit working on my PC. I checked the online reviews of Computer Repair shops in Winnipeg and CDC Computers had the best rating. I took my computer in and Daniel checked it out. He explained to me what he was doing and how I should limit the amount of unneeded junk on my computer. i.e. I had downloaded WoW four times. He told me the security programs I had installed were unneeded. They were taking up a lot of memory as well as costing me big bucks when they auto-renewed. He proceeded to delete the unnecessary programs, explaining each problem to me. After I was there over an hour watching, and learning, Daniel told me that my hard drive was inadequate in size and speed for what I was doing. I left my computer overnight and retrieved it the next day. My hard drive had been replaced for a really decent price and the labour cost was exceptionally low compared to the charges I had to pay other repair shops in the past. I was extremely please with the courteous and friendly manner in which I was treated by everyone I spoke with. Daniel went out of his way to explain every step he took and his advice and the new hard drive cleared up the Word problem as well as speeding up my computer considerably. I do not hesitate to recommend CDC Computer as a friendly, knowledgeable and inexpensive place to have electronic repairs done. It will be my go-to shop from now on. Thank you.
What a great experience I had today. Johnathan help me out and was able to work out and help fit my price range to get a new gaming laptop! If you are looking for anything computer related you got to be silly not to come here.
I had a great experience with this company and their friendly service. The communication was excellent. They fixed my tablet very quickly and payment was easy. I highly recommend this place if you need you tech fixed.
Excellent service! The auto feeder on my printer/scanner stopped working, and I couldn't figure out the cause. Took it to Cameron, and he figured it out in less than 30 seconds, and fixed the problem. He preferred to have a customer for life rather than charging me for what he needed to do. : Very knowledgeable...highly recommend.
I brought my laptop in because I was experiencing some display and keyboard issues, and they were more than happy to help me. They're very friendly, efficient, and more than anything, helpful. Cameron told me everything that was wrong with the computer, and the fixes they made were perfect. Everything is running perfectly again, and they even helped update my drivers before leaving very helpful if you don't know what you're doing. If you ever need your computer fixed, I recommend going to them over anybody else. Thank you, Cameron and crew!
Great customer service. Excellent service and real knowledge of what they are doing, and resalable cost! I live outside of the city, on the opposite side of town, and I will always take the extra time/gas to go here, just to know I will get their great service!
Very much a fine place to get your emergency repairs done or shopping for new items. I had a unique situation where a compeitor sold me a monitor with a power adapter that was under half the required voltage for the monitor.. Rather than ordering in a new product from LG and making me wait weeks, they custom built the required part and sent me on my way. Customer for life. Good Job Guys!
