I went to look for climbing shoes as a beginner. I don't know much about shoes luckily Jacob was a really great help. He knew exactly what I was looking for and helped me and great service

Besides having a wide selection range, this store is a ghost town and very expensive.nnNot a single time has someone asked if i needed anything or provided service. It depends on your background from the looks of it.nnEverything i looked for was ultimately bought somewhere else. I wonder Where's the need to have this store around.

Bought a ski bag that had a loose screw straight out of the box and customer service hasnt been answering the phone. This is my last resort as I've been on hold for an hour now

Word of caution: this store does not honour the rock solid guarantee. They claim a 2 year time limit. Another MEC store accepted the return on the same item.

Good customer service but a couple of seasonal products, like tent repair supplies, were out of stock. Displaying more tents as assembled would be helpful. The store was very clean and organized, and it was easy to find products. Friendly staff.
