I had the same guy, Michel is suppose to be a mechanic, he told me they will give some mechanical clinics in the next few months but is not even able to do the mechanic job properly. He did cut my fork and forgot to install the bearings back in place in the headset. I had to go back there to pick up my parts and I did it myself. He should take some mechanical training before giving some clinics. I am done with them for now and hopefully they are going to have someone who is able to do the job. For the rest the store looks pretty good

Had to tune up my bike and staff were extremely friendly and cost was very reasonable!! I love mountain equipment co-op!!

MEC is a great store. Only reason I am giving this a 4 star is that it has less inventory compared to larger stores.

Probably the best store for outdoor equipment, backpacks, high-end bicycles, camping etc.
