McDonald's

This location is good for us as a washroom and meal or snack break on our drives between the GTA and Ottawa. It can get quite busy especially in the summertime. The place seems to be kept reasonably clean and the food is typical McDonald’s. UPDATE: I’ve noticed that every time we stop the various staff we meet are all very friendly and the food and drinks are done well. Definitely a favorite stop.

Bathrooms here are some of the most disgusting I’ve ever seen. I chose the cleanest of all the stalls and this is what it looked like when I got into it.nnI understand it’s a long weekend and this location is on highway 7/62, but I would rather wait longer for my food than use a bathroom in this condition again. A bathroom attendant when needed would be helpful, or even a button people could press to indicate it is time to clean it would be good, too.

This place is surprisingly super busy. They were super efficient with our order and kind enough to offer help when needed. As for the food, it was OK.

Terrible experience. Ordered two bacon McMuffins, coffee, and pop. Get the order and they missed the pop. While we waited at he counter to ask for the pop 3 female employees sat there fanning and ignored us. Finally another employee came over to grab something so we asked for the cup. As we were getting the drink my husband realized the missed giving us 1 of our sandwiches. Went back to counter and had the same experience. AAA we got out to the car we then found they gave us the wrong type of sandwich. My husband proceeded to go in and said it was the third time we needed to return and they very rudely just said oh well here’s your sandwich, no apology or anything. All that and every sandwich we got was burnt and really not worth the time or money.

It can be a challenge to find a fast food place that maintains any level of reliability and quality.nnEverytime I go to this McDonald's, the staff is always friendly, the food is always fresh, and orders are always fast and correct.nnI find myself excited when I'm able to come through the area because it means I can stop at the best McDonald's around. 6/5 stars!
