Story

McCabe’s Irish Pub & Grill is committed to serving fresh,
local and affordable foods from our own neighbourhoods and
surrounding areas.

Some of our local suppliers include Raschle Farms in Hanover,
who supply the Organic beef for our burgers; St. Clements
Poultry provides our fresh Jumbo chicken wings and boneless
breasts. Our delicious cheeses come from Woolwich Dairy,
Pine River, Salerno and St-Albert Cheese. Wood Smoked
meats comes from Stemmler Meats in Heidelburg, and pork
from Conestoga Meats. Our fresh Italian pizza dough is made
in-house and cooked to order in our pizza oven. We use
hand-rolled puff pastry for our real Irish Pub pies and have an
impressive selection of desserts. Our sauces are homemade,
including authentic curry sauces and a unique variety of wing
sauces and house gravies.

We went there at 830 on a Saturday night, and service was slow. Once getting drinks our server didn't return for close to 20 mins. When we did get our server over, we were told their system was down and we couldn't order food. We were finally able to order at 945. Food didn't arrive until 1015. I just don't get how they couldn't write orders down, deliver them to the kitchen, and get our food while they worked on getting the system back up. Were the kitchen staff just standing there for over an hour? That being said, great atmosphere, service was good once system was back up, and the food was really good. Just happened to be there on a night where problem solving skills could have gone a long way to improving the experience.

Went to meet a friend from Toronto to Kitchener. Thought we would spend nice time. Ambience is good food is of great quantity. Feel they need more front staff to take care of customers. Glasses they served the beer was not cleaned. Price is reasonable likewise the beer. Ordered poutine, wrap and calamari. Good portion but disappointed on the fact that they have very few options on food. Would recommend more food options in an Irish pub.

McCabe's has a huge selection of beer available on tap. The biggest problem here is figuring out sick one to start with. I was there recently and had their buffalo chicken wrap. They give you a variety of sauce to choose from. I tried their "suicide (not joking)" sauce. They mean it, it's hot! Would definitely try again!

McCabe's is great because there is nothing you can buy here that isn't great comfort food. I recommend the lattice fries. It's a massive pile of fries, cheese and whatever meat you choose that will leave you waddling out the door.

Had an awesome waitress! Watched the LEAF'S GAME! Great TV's at every angle! A LOT OF LAUGHS! It was nice just sitting with a very very special friend! Which she; "GRABBED the bill!" Great place if you enjoy good appetizers and GREAT ALE ON TAP! THANKS! GREAT PLACE FOR ALL AGES! You won't be disappointed, just hope you get a great server, that's always the issue. But had a great one!🤗🍀🇨🇦
