The MCC Furniture Thrift Store was opened on October 1, 2003.

We are a non-profit, volunteer based organization that raises funds for MCC by selling donated furniture.

We have hundreds of pieces of quality used furniture in our bright modern show room!
The net proceeds will be donated to MCC projects in the whole world!

A good place for old, reused furniture. Lots of good quality items, friendly staff and prices are decent. Lots of variety with two floors of furniture, beds, mattresses, tables, chairs, couches and other furniture

This particular location is, and has always been, grossly overpriced. Despite the explanation offered here (removed) by the MCC, their response defies economic logic and the word “greed” comes to mind. I was interested in a used dresser, which was priced at a shocking $200 and when I inquired about delivery, was told that would be an extra $60, despite being less than 10km away. Wound up buying a comparable dresser at the Sally Ann on McPhillips for $60 and a customer in the store offer to deliver it for $20 – talk about a kind and generous experience. You’d be far better off to re-examine your business model and dramatically lower your prices in order to get the items to the people who could really use them at the local level, as opposed to concerning yourselves with helping people halfway around the world. Charity starts at home. ***In response to the statement that your "...store is always empty" I think the reviewer was commenting on the number of people that are actually in the store, not the amount of merchandise available. In other words, people cannot afford to shop here.

Clothing is sometimes even more expensive then the name brand stores. Good place to shop for certain foods.
