Absolutely two thumbs up recommended place to go for an amazing Armenian food. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with traditional Armenian pieces yet the place looks modern. The food knocks you down from the first bite, delicious and sometimes never tried anywhere. Again, highly recommending for ethnic Armenian food and a nice choice of cocktails, wines, and beer. Elegant place, reminded me some restaurants in New York.
Grabbed lunch here today - great atmosphere and service; really enjoyed the fact that they also offered off-menu items! The grilled octopus was so fresh and probably one of the better ones I've had in the city. Chicken platter was seasoned very well and very tasty. Very interesting menu - will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
Dropped by for brunch recently where we ordered manti, a plate of dips and the soujouk omelette. Everything was really delicious with great table service. The only downer is the AC seemed to be down at the time, so we sat on the patio when the bees were being very active. But, I’d be happy to come back to try the dinner menu in the future.
Delicious Armenian food, they mix traditional cuisine with a modern twist. Friendly staff. Atmosphere is elegant and great for dates or just a casual dinner with friends. Very clean, restrooms were neatly kept. Would recommend, would go back.Food: 5/5
Appreciated the warm ambiance and amiable staff at the Mediterranean restaurant. However, the brunch menu mainly features egg-based dishes, offering fewer sweet options for those with a preference for them.Food: 3/5
We came here to try the summerlicious menu but so many things on their regular menu looked good too so we decided to pick our own dishes. The service was really good and super attentive. We got their dips, tabule, manti dumplings, akawi cheese, batata harra, adana kabab and lamb chops. And kunafa for dessert. The manti dumplings, and akawi were a stand out. The only thing we didn’t enjoy is the kunafa only because we make the best at home. Their patio and vibe is really nice and we’d def come again.
This restaurant is amazing. Had a late lunch there. We first called in @Mirage Restaurant on the same street and were treated rather strangely. The food at the Mayrik is top shelf, the service out of 10 is at 11. We had such a lovely lunch and will visit them again. Wish I could give them 10 stars.Food: 5/5
We live nearby and we are kicking ourselves for not trying this spot sooner. I ordered Mante Armenian dumplings which had a healthy dose of Sumac and Za'atar for lots of flavor, along with a Fattoush salad and Batata Hara. The Armenian beer was a nice little treat with dinner since I haven't seen it elsewhere. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be bringing friends here to try it out ASAP.
The fatoush and the falafel were very flavourful, very satisfying. Just on the brink of too much seasoning which is really unnecessary. Also, I was really looking to get radish and pomegranate seeds, as became customary in fatoush at other restaurants - or else the dish feels simplistic and overpriced. The Armenian beer is very good, malty - would drink another if not costing $10.
Amazing discovery. Everything from the service to the food was great. We got the roasted cauliflower, the chicken as well as the Artsakh bread. It was amazing, we wished we could've eaten more to try the whole menu. Next time we're in Toronto you'll see us again. Highly recommend !
