Ordered tires online, dropped off my car overnight for pick up the next day at 3:00pm. Called the next day to check on status and Ryan couldn't find my paperwork - was going to call right back after checking with sister store next door, Come Muffler, to see if they had it. I called back 30 minutes later and talked to a different guy named Josh who couldn't find me in the system and put the phone down to go check. Someone else picked up the receiver to tell me that Josh was going next door to Cole and to hang on, then proceeded to hang up the phone on me. Most likely it was an accident, but I decided to just call Cole's at this point. Called and was told Josh was there and there was no RAV4 there. As you can imagine I got pissed and demanded to stay on the phone until Josh located it. The guy at Cole said Josh found it and would call me from Mavis. Great. Get the call and was told it was all set to go, there was a mix-up because it was under the other name that was on my account before. Ok, can understand. Drive down to the store about 30 minutes later and it's not done. Have to wait another 15 minutes, checked out at 3:30pm...have hour after my requested pickup time and after having it all day. Not impressed with the service, but I'm hoping the tires are good. Time will tell.

Worst service EVER i went today Sept 21 to spend 439.76 to get 4 brand new tires on my car and they put the tires on yes but they bent my rim and put it on the front and didn't say any thing about it and as I was going home to get ready to get my kids from school I felt nothing but shacking bad all the way home I called and then they decided that they were gonna put my bent rim on the back mind u it very bad and then ur gonna brake my lug nut and not say anything about it well now they are giving us a really bad run around mind u I have 4 kids who ride in my car every 5 seconds of my day and I didn't need this kind of service and 2nd off why don't u treat people like u would ur self would u want half job service while ur children ride in ur vehicle no I didn't think so I'm never ever going back u,lost my service for good it's the one in ithaca ny

Average service. Definitely not exceptional, nor horrible. I'm fairly certain they did not rotate my tires even though that service comes with an oil change.

I've been here three times this winter. Mavis has been able to help me determine when it's a quick minor fix (2/3 times) and when I actually needed to replace a tire (the last time). When I needed to replace one, I received sound advice on my options, and I felt no pressure to buy one tire over another. I later looked at reviews of the tire types online, and they aligned well with the advice that I was given in the moment. Pricing isn't cheap, but it's also not expensive, and it's similar to what you'll find elsewhere. They've accommodated me quickly with and without an appointment, and I've always been happy with the service. The waiting space is pretty standard, with wifi, television, magazines, and water. There's also a small space with kid-sized tables and decorations.

The staff at Mavis in Ithaca went above and beyond to help me with the purchase of a new tire in place of a damaged one. They were able to get me in and it taken care of without a set appointment. I was impressed by their work, and their willingness to go above and beyond.
