Always a wonderful time!!! They have really been a huge help after my apartment flooded. When my credit was about to expire the staff was so helpful in extending the date to help me wait till I moved to my new place!!! And I found a nifty case for $1!!!
Overall, it’s a great place, and my wife and I will definitely be returning. We enjoy visiting thrift stores, and this one is a regular stop for us. While the prices are generally fair for many items, some things do seem a bit overpriced for what they are.
This is probably one of the best second hand stores in at least three counties. The people who work here are great and very helpful. They have everything and then some.
Two stars...I know, I know. It's just that when I go to a thrift store, I want thrift store prices. I don't mind paying more for quality stuff but sometimes things are in poor condition and priced high and not because it's vintage. I have pulled dishes off the shelves to find them dirty... as in, looks like there's still food on them. Pretty gross. But sometimes I will find a decent gem and that's why I go back I guess. FWIW, the employees are great
My daughter and I planned a thrift trip to Ithaca, from an hour away. We were pretty excited to check out the Reuse Center, until we saw their prices. Used, beat up furniture should not carry price tags that high. After reading the comments here about electronics, I'm super thrilled I chose not to spend $30 on a used lamp here. The type of people they hire is a fantastic thing, but should not be a consumers only focus. I won't be returning to this store.
