Rooms were being renovated so were clean with comfortable beds. The tub needed some repairs as some of the coating was chipped away. Conveniently located next to a restaurant/brewery so didn't have to travel far for food, but since pets were not allowed inside and it was way too hot to eat on the patio we just made other arrangements. Took an evening stroll through the town which felt safe even though the homeless were congregating in the park. Nice accommodations for the price we paid, plus they are pet friendly.
Spent the night here with my two dogs when moving back to Washington. The staff were extremely friendly and loved the dogs. The room was clean but I did have one noisy neighbor that made the girls nervous. Loved that they made moving with the dogs so much more comfortable than sleeping in the truck.
If you are looking for an affordable, clean, comfortable, no frills place to stay with helpful staff; consider this motel. We stopped last minute and luckily got the last room available after trying at multiple hotels. It is located downtown, right next door to a great brewery/restaurant.
The Maverick Motel I went to looked completely different on the inside from what shows up in the first few pictures you see when you pull this place up. They went through recent renovations with the front desk and rooms. The front desk has a cool mural of Crater Lake painted on the wall, and on the backside of the roof beams, they have fighter jets painted on them. Our room looked nice with the new laminate flooring, paint, furniture, and bedding. This place is located in downtown Klamath Falls surrounded by a bunch of good restaurants nearby. Common Block Brewery pretty much shares a parking lot with them nextdoor.
Room had been renovated badly, the finish was chipping off the bathtub. Bathtub faucet had some kind of yellow putty all around it, on white painted over tile. Shower curtain was dirty and had mold/mildew on inside. Two of the bath towels had grey dirty looking marks on them. Towels were very thin.nNo hair dryer asked for one and were told there was one at the from desk if we wanted to come and get it, no iron or ironing board.nCould hear other people stomping across floors in their rooms during the night.
