A-1 Budget Motel

This was a great price deal. Quiet even though it was right off the freeway. The night manager was amazingly kind and friendly. If you're in the area and on a traveling budget, check it out. Room was clean & comfortable.

Clean rooms. Friendly front desk and good price. Covered parking in front of all rooms is nice. (Keep in mind this is a "no frills' hotel, so no complementary shampoo/coffee makers in rooms, there is coffee made and ready at front desk though. But they do have a fridge and microwave). Would stay again.

The front desk lady was awesome, especially since we woke her up at 2:30am. We paid $99 for a very scary two room suite: two queen size beds (one with TV with hbo, the other bed in room with large regular size fridge and microwave). Who knows what has gone down in this room...I wouldn't take my shoes off or use shower (had new low water use toilet, but water was yellow in bowl when we arrived, once flushed it had clear water...so assuming pee in toilet). Bed had no bugs, but did have questionable stains on pillowcase. We were desperate for sleep. The front desk wanted us to see room first before renting since it was so bad. I'm guessing the rest on motel was descent, but never saw those rooms. All other motels/hotels were booked. We were shocked this one room was available.

wonderful polite owners and employees, nice breakfast offerings, beautiful view to wake up to in the morning...amazing sky and sunrise. quiet sleep even on the highway! going to book another stay this week

Wonderful Staff, lovely non-smoking rooms/showers, wonderful customer service for the price, bed was comfy, they tv, ac/heater worked the two times I stayed there, microwave and fridge included.. The reason for a less star is b/c when I try calling the main office lately it has kept the phone ringing or sounding busy almost all day. Only concern was non healthy breakfast with the packaged donuts this place is highly recommended if you just need a bed , heat/AC and/or shower
