I brought my wife here and the food here was really good. She ordered a chicken sandwich and I got some plant based tenders and they were really good. The spicey mayo sauce is sooo good you have no idea.
We passed by Mary Brown’s for take out. The service was quick and no need to queue up around 5:00pm. We ordered two Original Sidekick Sandwiches from their Snack Menu for $6.99 and one 3Pcs Chicken without combo. The food quality was ok but the Sidekick Sandwiches were really small size of my palm only. I guess that’s what you get for that price. It was from their snack menu so that’s the size of a snack and should not expect too much.
August 2021. 3.5 Fried chicken is aways good. This site opened a few months ago and recently had their opening ceremony by throwing a two pieces of chicken dark meat and taters potatoe wedges for $3.99 not a bad deal, but I've found recently that the chicken has gotten smaller. Still good for this value. Store is fairly big and clean. The plaza itself is only about a year old. Ample parking.
Taters were good. Chicken was dry. I asked for dark meat, but got a rib. Also ask for 1 pc original and 1 pc for the honey BBQ. Got 2 pcs of original. Food wasn't hot. Cashier was polite and quick to greet us. Dining room was a little dirty. But nice and roomy. Lots of seats that are nicely spaced apart. Parking: Plenty of spots. Handicap spots right in front. A couple spots for pickup. Wheelchair accessibility: Very good place for someone in a wheelchair. Automatic doors, wide open aisles and designated washroom.
Very big and new location, very clean, friendly service, they took down your name for the order, felt like I was at a starbucks lol. Got a 2 piece & taters. Was good and fresh. Cost about 10 bucks?
I went there on the National Fried chicken day. I ordered online at 4:30pm to pick up at 6pm. However when I arrived, the room was crowed with customers. The staff were overehelmed by the customers who came in for the $4.99 special. They dont seems to be able to handle the crowd. From kitchen to counter, its a mess. Luckily the Regional manager lady was there. She was super patient and very kind. Her multi tasking and risk management was impressive. I ended up waited for an hour for my dinner.
I daresay... Better than Popeyes which I used to think was the best fast-food fried chicken. Really good! Really fresh, not as greasy, and more flavour. Also their Caramilk cake dessert pre-packaged is amazing!!!
Waited yesterday for at least 25mins for our lunch.. Only thing good about it was our chicken was fresh off the fryer but taters and poutine was stale. I hope this is not a norm for this place.
The chicken burger was delicious It cost a bit more but worth the quality as it’s not a meat patty like most fast food joints but a whole piece of fried chicken, crispy and meaty and no bones. Will order again.
The service was outstanding, I came by today and ordered a large taters poutine and the cashier- Jessica, was incredibly welcoming and friendly upon greeting. The customer service was really incredible and left great impressions as well as the cleanliness kept in the area. Jessica, who took my order, was really helping and made sure I got everything wanted. The taters poutine which I ordered that a perfect amount of gravy and cheese curds together with the taters itself. Would definitely recommend coming here, the ambient lighting and atmosphere was really relaxing too.
