What can I say, arrived here with some family for a quick bite to eat and we ended up getting a bit of everything. It's all amazing .taste and presentation is beautiful. Portion sizes were huge, value for money is fantastic. Staff were super friendly. Only a matter of time before there's a list of awards next to there name .thank you chef Mark and team .can't wait to return
deliiicious tater tots and smash burger!!!! the burger meat is done perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning and done-ness. the topping on burgers was not stingy and you feel so satisfied after having. Tater tots are a star with that garlic aioli!!! mac and cheese is so creamy and delicious. Super heavy portion, perfect for sharing! Doughnuts were nice and hot! I cant wait to return. Hopefully they will have a ledge for us to eat on inside soon!
I recently dined at TFK Eats, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The first thing that caught my attention was the burger. The crispy edges and that special sauce had me reminiscing about the iconic Big Mac. I opted for their 6.99 cheeseburger special and it was a single patty, pickles, and onions. Nothing fancy for toppings, which I prefer, but still delicious - I'd give it a 4/5. What truly impressed me, though, were the thick napkins provided – a small but appreciated detail that showed the restaurant's attention to customer comfort. Now, let's talk about the tots. They were a solid 5/5 – exceptionally crispy and enjoyable on their own. But when paired with the garlic aioli sauce, they reached perfection. I must admit, the garlic flavor was quite strong, which might not be everyone's cup of tea, but for me, it was absolutely fantastic. All in all, TFK Eats exceeded my expectations with their crispy, flavorful food, thoughtful amenities, and that unforgettable garlic aioli sauce.
I was excited to give TFK a try after peeking at their menu which all sounds like my favorites... Mac n' cheese, smash burgers, tater tots, donuts! The extra incentive was that this week, from August 7-13, they have a BOGO deal! When you buy any one of their macs, you can get their Old Time Classic Mac for free! I ended up ordering their BUFFALO MAC, then received the classic for free. Both had the same base Bechamel cheddar cheese sauce, cheese blend, short noodle, parmesan herb crumble but the Buffalo was topped with their breaded chicken strips tossed in maple buffalo sauce. First off, don't be fooled by the size of these containers. They are deeper than others but also, because these macs are so rich and creamy that it makes them super filling. They definitely did not skimp on the cheese and I definitely got some pulls too! Their parm herb crumble was great for added flavor but also a nice contrast in texture. As for their chicken strips, a little more heat would have been appreciated but the maple was a perfect pairing and they tasted like real white meat, not minced. I also couldn't resist their classic taters which were perfectly golden and crispy! This comes with a garlic aioli which pairs perfectly. For fast food, this place is a little pricey with the classic mac sitting at $14, the buffalo mac being $18, and the classic taters coating $6.75 but the quality did match up and is generally considered gourmet. Speaking of quality, I love their packaging which is both sustainable but sturdy. I was actually impressed with how durable the forks felt and the thickness of their napkins. Service was a short interaction in nature but friendly. The place was overall very clean and seems spacious enough when walking in, but I can imagine it crowding up with people waiting for their orders since this place is takeout only. I believe there were only two seats for people to wait. Lastly, the nature display with LED lights when you first enter is super cute!
Finally more smash burgers spots opening in Markham. Great smash burgers spot. Got the Oklahoma smash burger and classic tots. Great tasting burger and tots. Recommend people check out this spot.Food: 5/5
Ordered: Old Time Classic Mac, Oklahoma Burger, Classic Tots The food was excellent, all three food items were perfect. Service was great, the staff were very attentive. You can also see the kitchen, and it looks absolutely spotless. Biggest take away for me was how high quality the utensils were. The forks and napkins felt very premium, something you wouldn't expect from a takeout only spot. I'll be back to try other mac dishes and more tots
Tried their brisket taco special and it was one of the best brisket tacos I've ever had. The flavors and toppings compliments each other so well and portion size for $5 was a steal! Taters were crispy and seasoned perfectly. Corn bread was a perfect balance of sweet and savory and the mac and cheese was seasoned well and had great consistency. Will definitely be coming back to try other menu items! Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options indicated on the menu. Dietary restrictions: All Chicken and Beef is Halal
Burger was a tad over done, the meat had a crisp to it. Overall it was okay. The tots with the dip was a great side.Food: 3/5
The most delicious iteration of “Mac & Cheese” that is so smooth and tasty! Great service, reasonable wait times and a BOGO deal offered as you walk in the door. Lots of happy, smiling faces are a welcome change in a not so happy food service industry as of late. Extremely satisfied 5 year old as well with the “Smash Single” burger that he inhaled!! Great job everyone. Awesome to see!!
Deeeelicious my wife ordered a Mac and cheese and I got a burger & tots. Loved every bite! Generous portions, the exact smash burger taste with those pillowy potato buns Mac and cheese was also delicious and the smoked brisket was smoky and tender. Will be back soon hopefully!
