Martini's Restaurant

First visit to the Martinis part of the Charcoal. I also hadn’t been to the Charcoal in over a decade. We had an early dinner on the outdoor patio because the weather was perfect temperature to be outside. It’s a warm and cozy setting. Some traffic noise, but the plants do help filter that out.nnI forget the server’s name, but she was excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable, but not at all pushy. She helped my partner change some ingredients in her cocktail order, as she wanted to substitute the peach schnapps for something else.nnI got a Caesar salad for my appetizer. It was better than I hoped. Very fresh with a little radicchio with the romaine. My partner got the beat salad and it was OK.nnWe got an order of the prime rib with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were actually way better than I expected. Somehow they managed to elevate mashed potatoes. The prime rib, I asked for medium rare, and I think that mine was much more rare. I actually don’t mind it, but it was, almost too rare. Some of the fat hadn’t quite rendered out so it was a little tough to cut.nnWe also got the peppercorn steak and it was a perfect medium rare. The pepper sauce was bright and vibrant, but not so spicy that you couldn’t handle it or that it would overpower the steak. The caramelization on the outside of the steak was exactly what I had hoped for.nnThe house red on the day that we went was excellent and paired very well with all that beef. There is ample parking.

I had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant but it was such a disappointment.nMaybe i didn’t order the right things or it was just bad. We got 3 dishes and all 3 were below average. I wouldn’t go back for sure.nHowever our server, Abby was amazing and I think that was the only 1 good thing I can speak of.

Gotta say this place has been a great surprise. Haven't been in years but decided to try it out again and its been amazing. So much so we have been back a few times in the last couple months. The prime rib was amazing. My wife loves the beet salad. And the nachos are wonderful. Staff and atmosphere is great as well.

Came with a group of friends for dinner. Servers were really friendly, making great conversation as we were taking placing our orders. Went with the beef dip which tasted great, could use a little bit more au jus for dipping! Portion sizes were good, and prices were reasonable for what you get. The cocktails are always good as well. Will be back again!

Nice patio space. Good for a special occasion. Good service.nnGreat variety in the drink menu. They have a dessert platter that allows you to try a variety of their desserts. I didn't manage to take a picture before everyone dug in. Most of the desserts were very nice, though the brownie and biscotti were just okay.nnThe space is not overly crowded, though it can be a bit loud when full.
