Amazing customer service with very warm welcoming staff, They know what they are doing and are educated on their products, I was literally in and out within 5 minutes and got exactly what I needed. They also carry most of the things bigger stores don’t, forget Home Depot, come to home hardware

Good local store I've been going to for years. Great for deals every week and the personal touch you don't get from the big box store.

I completely disagree with people's comments claiming they had the worst customer service at this business for being "non-white". I am a visible minority (Asian) and experienced zero inkling of anything out of the ordinary in my conversation with staff. The gentleman at the back was more than helpful assisting us with LED lights (we bought 18), conversing for a good 5 - 7 minutes with us about energy conservation and what to purchase, going far beyond the typical interaction you get at big box stores. We can all do a better job at being more inclusive and empathetic toward each other no matter the background. We are actually going back to give more business to the store because an identical product that is sold at the H'Depot is cheaper at this Home Hardware. Highly recommend.

Incredible store with an amazing staff. In the rare case they don't have the answers, they will spend the time with you to figure it out or find a solution that will work. Constantly going out of their way to help, even if you're not a customer. I cannot recommend it enough. Markham Home Hardware outshines their competitors because the staff genuinely care about helping you. That is customer service that you cannot buy.

This is a neighborhood hardware store with the most attentive personal service you can imagine. They can answer any question and take you right to what you're looking for, even if you can't describe it by its proper name. The big box stores have a deeper range of goods but we appreciate the convenience and helpful advice we always get from Markham Home Hardware. Their pricing is competitive with larger stores but their knowledge and customer care are unsurpassed.
