The Tall And Small Cafe

Love this place!nGreat coffee, special coffees and Sweet!nThis is the first time I've been here.nI am from out of town. Anytime I am in Antigonish this is the first place I'll go!nWish I could remember the sweet in the photo that I posted. It was amazing!!nStaff were warm, friendly and great at their jobs!

Wonderful little local eat-in or take-out café with delicious homemade baked good sandwiches and soups.nnWe liked it so much we came twice: once on our way to Cape Breton and for lunch on our way back!

This is the kind of hole-in-the-wall gem that Anthony Bourdain would have raved about. Had the Greek Veggie on Focaccia bread and we both decided it was beautiful, possibly our new favorite sandwich. Also had the Grilled Cheese with tomato and pesto and it was really good. It was a different type of sandwich, with one slice of bread cut four ways and the cheese on top like a pizza. It came with a small side salad that was tasty and filling. The atmosphere was chic, cozy, cool and wide open. We were a couple, but you would feel comfortable coming in solo with a book or a laptop which we witnessed as there were several singles at tables. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Travelling through Antigonish, and found this place. Stopped in for lunch.nWe arrived around 2.30 on a Monday, and it was v busy. Worried we wouldn't get a table, but it showed the popularity of the place.nA local recommended the Corn Chowder or the Turkey Sandwich.nNice locally made pottery was on sale, we brought a lovely mug.nI had the Turkey and Pesto Sandwich on Focaccia. It was lovely.

Cute cafe with homemade food and delicious coffee. Gluten free options. Service was great.
