Maranello Cafe

This place is so wonderful! Was looking for a brand new place to try and boy am I happy we stopped by! Albeit little, Maranello is a quaint place with a lovely little seating area. Their food is always fresh and is served at a hot counter. You can also go home with fresh pasta, sauce and other available baked goods! Our stop included the veal parm, meatball sandwich and their soup of the day: cream of cauliflower. The lady at the counter was so incredibly friendly, accommodating and radiated sunshine. The food was absolutely delicious too Will be returning soon!

The food here was so fresh and good that I felt like I was in Italy whilst eating here. The prices are SO GOOD you’d be shocked at how much your bill comes to. She mentioned her grandma makes the gnocchi by hand; and trust me, you can tell when it melts in your mouth! I was so pleasantly surprised with the service, food, free bread, and pricing. Please try this spot! You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful café! Top quality food side cheese and hot oil are incredibly delicious! friendly service and amazing value! Great place to stop for those times you don't feel like making lunch or dinner!

Their chicken sandwiches are delicious. Their spaghetti aglio e olio is bad. they didn’t add any Parmesan and the chunks of garlic were huge, I couldn’t even taste them. The flavour of the dried parsley covered everything. The spaghetti with meat sauce was very good, I like the carrots and celery they add.

Portion size is huge which is nice. But the gnocchi with pesto was extra oily it didn’t look pleasing. It was at least an inch high of oil. No one wanted to touch it, unfortunately. I’m sure the homemade gnocchi would’ve been delish if they put significantly less oil.

Was looking forward to checking out Maranello and boy, am I glad we did! Fantastic cappuccino, tiramisu and bacon carbonara. Really friendly and quick service, clean spots, great taste and SO well-priced! Already planning my next meals here.

I went there tonight. There was a older shorter lady working, whom I’m assuming is new there. I asked for a sandwich I got little toppings. Usually when I go there, they put a little more toppings on my sandwich. Meanwhile she is making two more sandwich for another customer and it looks like a mountain. I placed a telephone order . She said oh you are the one that placed it, throws the bag towards the cash where I was getting checked out, to a very older lady. She needs to do customer service to every customer that comes in and not to pick and choose. I do not like visiting this store when she is working, the other two lady’s are pleasant. I will only visit this store when the other lady’s are working.

I have eaten a lot of good home cooked Italian food growing up and this place really does live up to that standard. Very very nice sauce - perfect flavour without being too sweet and not overly salted. The veal sandwich great - the bread was perfect as in not too soft and not too hard. Also great variety of other cold cut sandwiches we had the mortadella. So happy to have found this spot, it’s up there with the best of them.

I have lived in Port Credit for years and have always wanted to try Maranello. I stopped in this evening and ordered their veal sandwich. It was amazing! The portion is huge! The bread is super fresh as well as the rest of my toppings. The veal is perfectly tender. Overly thrilled and will be stopping by again in the future!

Just ordered meat ball and spaghetti side cesar salad. The spaghetti is delicious and a good size I will not order another small salad disappointing both quality and size for $7.50 I give 5 stars to spaghetti 0 for salad
