This restaurant looks so cute from the outside that we just had to explore it on the inside! It reminds me of Lady and the Tramp with the cute decor inside. It is a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly too. Apparently some of the staff have been there since around the time it opened 11 years ago! Now that is some serious retention. The food tasted authentically amazing and the portions were quite large! The kids menu items were the same size as some other restaurant's adult sized items. The highlight had to be the Tiramisu! The fresh whipped cream was light and perfectly sweetened. It is too bad that this restaurant is not in Calgary or we'd go very often. This restaurant is a complete winner! I am not surprised that it has been open for 11 years.
Best Italian food we can find in the town. Pizza is so yummy approved by my little one. Even though it's kids size pizza it will be enough for an adult also. Lobster Ravioli is the best creamiest lobster ever. If u like pesto go for a polo pesto pasta. Service is really good. Over all go for it.
Great restaurant hidden away on Lakeshore. It took me a couple of tries to see it. Came here for dinner with a friend. They didn't take reservations and said it was first come first serve, so maybe call in advance to see if they are busy. The wild mushroom bruschetta is oh so delicious. Lots of flavourful mushroom and the bread isn't toasted rock hard. This is great for those who have issues chewing harder things. The Margherita pizza is tasty but I'd say it's pretty average. I like the thin crust but I wish it was more chewy, the basil could be cooked on the pizza instead of fresh, and the sauce could use more flavour. My friend ordered the beef ravioli which he enjoyed immensely. I'll come here again with family to try other items on the menu.
We got Al Pollo pizza a thin crust pizza It was ok. Not worth the price Not worth the hype. Taste is really plain. They have dine in option available. Small cute place. Free Parking is available behind the pizza location. Location is bit tricky but is right next to it. Staff is really friendly
Food was amazing and the portion sizes were large. The place tends to get busy as its famous for its Italian cusine in Port Credit area. Therefore, do add some wait time 15-30mins before you get to be seated. They also have a patio, which is nice as it’s not street facing, and you can enjoy the food peacefully unlike with street facing patios wherein car noise makes the experience un-enjoyable. Deducted 1 star as the food service was a bit slow, which might be due to the weekend rush.
Decided to treat ourselves to @papagiuseppes for my Pretend Retirement meal and it was phenomenal!!! The Lobster Ravioli is in the most divine sauce that if it were polite to lick the plate - it would have happened. The lunch special pizza of Tomato and Pepperoni was delicious and word to the wise - dip the crust in the sauce from the pasta. Their Caesar Salad is super generous and yummy and their desserts are also fantastic - @gannieincanada had the Blueberry Cheesecake and I had of course Tiramisu - heaven! Fantastic service and located right in downtown Port Credit - a must visit for anyone who hasn’t been yet! Instagram @lifeinmyhoodie
Very comfortable place, smells good even outside the restaurant, is not a big spot with lots of space but the aesthetic is really classical Italian and It’s nice to see the chefs doing your plates almost in front of you. For the other part, food is nice but still average, in kitchen changes in recipes are allowed but doesn’t mean they always will be okay, portions are small but looking good for the eye. Coffee is amazing and is grinned when you order it, dessert menu is okay but today I didn’t have luck and they only have cheesecake and lava cake, lava cake was extremely sweet that can kill a diabetic and they forgot the vainilla gelato on top announced in the menu, fruits were fresh at least and overall a good experience but definitely not the best in the city.
The food was great, presentation was awesome and I loved the cuteness of the restaurant itself! It’s a very small but typical Italian restaurant and they also have a small backyard with a few tables to sit at. Customer service is great as well!
We had a great night. Had our dinner out at the heated patio which was just the right temperature. Our server, Brett was quite helpful in navigating the types of pizza and options for our palette. We went with a customized Margherita pizza with Italian sausage and a side of cacio et pepe. Brett also recommended the wines for us and it paired quite well with our meal. The cherry on top was the lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Loved the ambience, the food quality and the service.
