Hidden gem in Port Credit! Cute little coffee shop with great coffee AND good brunch! My entire experience here was amazing. The place was full when my friend and I got there—they took my name and number and called back in ~10 min when the table was ready. Brunch was great; good selection and high quality food. We had planned to go somewhere else for dessert but we ended up staying here for an almond croissant because it looked so good! Coffee tasted greatand I’m picky with my americano and the staff were very friendly I would definitely come back when I’m in the area.
Ordered the chorizo waffles, scotch egg, and French toast. All three were quite tasty. Staff were very friendly and everything was decently priced. I would recommend this cafe for anyone in the area.Food: 4/5
They go above and beyond! We got there and it was full, but they made it easy for us to go out for a walk and called us when a table was available. Then the food is great and beautifully presented. The attention is kind and efficient. Nice people and great food. Will definitely go back.Recommended dishesSourdough
The tight space takes nothing away from all the smiling staff and the flavourful plates available here. Fresh breads and sizzling ingredients give the place a homely vibe. The mushroom tostada in particular is rich and filling.Food: 5/5
The menu reads like a taste adventure, if you love complex taste combinations of good ingredients, put as together simply and elegantly. I couldn't decide between two delicious offerings - so I tested myself and ordered both. Truffle Mushroom tostada: fantastic pairing of this cheese with mushrooms. Strong flavor profile and good portion size. The crunch of the bread plus the pull of the cheese are just right. Figs & Mascarpone: This. Is. A. Full-body. Experience! The rich flavors are nice to string but distinct and well balanced against one another. There's a food symphony that happens with the harmony of tastes on your palate, while the contrasting textures of ingredients send sensations through your head, and you get a rush feelings from the gentile sweet, the cream and bread. It's almost an out of body experience and it's ok, go with it - this is luxury eating but reasonably priced. Flakey, buttery, yummy croissants and raisin buns, too! The staff are the best. You immediately get a warm and inviting vibe - like visiting distant family who heard you were passing through and invited you over for something to eat. I had the one of the best sit down meals, and to think I just came for aloaf if the amazing sourdough bread. Loving it all.
100% recommend, very nice place, beautiful and cozy! Staff is amazing, very friendly, I feel I was back home Venezuela Geselle was helping us, and she was super nice. Coffee the best! All was good Congratulations guys keep it up. Super buen restaurant 100% recomendado!
What a great breakfast/brunch spot. The food was fresh and delicious. I suspect almost everything is homemade especially the bread. The ladies working in the front were friendly and attentive. I wasn't expecting to find fresh baked goods and bread here, so I was pleasantly surprised to see they are running their own little bakery in the back. We grabbed a few things after our meal and they were all fantastic. Not only does Port Credit have a new fantastic brunch spot, but now we have a local spot to buy a loaf of bread that actually looks and tastes amazing. I really hope they get enough traction and can expand in to a bigger space. It's very small and I feel they deserve a bigger place. They def are worth it.
A welcomed addition to Port Credit. This unassuming cafe has a terrific Latin American influenced all day breakfast, omelettes, and tostadas. The food is simple, appealing and super tasty. I combined their Huevos Rotos eggs, cured ham and potatoes with a cortado and oat milk. Perfect way to start a work day.
I loved the food here. The chef, as I understand it, worked at Michelin starred restaurants in Madrid- and the creativity definitely shows. The ingredients are fresh and the food is fantastic. It is also quite affordable when you take into account what you're getting here. The $13 marscapone toast is undervalued in my opinion. The atmosphere is not the best; though, I did go in winter. It seems in summer they will expand the space outdoors with and "indoor-outdoor" style dining area using the garage door wall. As of now there is a total of 12 seating spaces of memory serves me correct. You will also have to park on the street or commute as there is no parking... Here you can also buy some gourmet Spanish items canned seafoods and also sourdough loaves and pastries. All in all, I loved the food. The sourdough was great and as I said the marscapone toast was amazing- as was the huevos verdes shakshuka. I will definitely be back, but I will be waiting until the summer for a better atmosphere.
Went for a quick coffee today and the place was bustling! Didn't try the food unfortunately but it all looked fresh and good portions. The scotch egg is something I definitely want to try as they clearly didn't skimp out on the sausage. I am hoping they have gluten free options apart from the omelets but we will see. Best coffee around the area by a long shot though.
