Maker Pizza

ONE BITE everybody knows the rules!! Ordered the pepperoni and of course wanted to eat it right away for the fairest score. Hot pie out of the oven, little bit of a flop, but good undercarriage. The pizza itself was lacking overall flavour and taste. Crispy crust which was nice, I wasn’t getting the hint of honey that was used. Tomato sauce is as very one note. I blame the brand new ovens maybe? Solid 7.2/10 Nice little spot with some tables to sit at. It tasted better the next day to be honest. I’ll be back to try other creations

Was glad to find out that there’s a premium pizza spot opening up in the area. Ordered over the phone and the rep was very helpful in providing information. Ordered the small franks best. I was skeptical that it may not be filling for 2 but the pizza is heavy and loaded with premium toppings so we actually had leftovers! If you even just want a snack the small is great for 4 people, a slice each. The caramelized onions and touch of honey are my favourite part of the pie. I also can’t forget the crust! The hidden gem here though is the garlic dipping sauce. The best sauce and they give you a good amount!

EDITED I'm editing my review after ordering from this location a few times to check for consistency in the quality. We ordered So Mushroom, Frank's Best, and Tropic Thunder on all different occasions, and we definitely taste the improvement in the quality. The dough has the right flavor and has been consistently soft like the other locations. The pizzas have been cooked more well done with the perfect amount of the ingredients. We really appreciate the amount of effort they have been making to improve and perfect their pizzas. Highly recommend their Dill Buttermilk Ranch and Creamy Garlic Parmesan with Chili Crisp dipping sauces! ================================= My boyfriend and I have been patiently waiting for the new Thornhill location to open so much closer to us now and while we were super excited to try their slice specials and to grab our usual pies, the experience was underwhelming. We ordered the So Mushroom, Frank's Best, two thin slice combos, and an assorted box of cookies. Unfortunately, both of the pizzas slices & the pies were more undercooked than usual. We were expecting the thin slices to be more thin and they lacked the cheesiness we were hoping for. The So Mushroom barely had any mascarpone and on top of that, they forgot to add honey and sesame to the crust which we paid extra for. We recognize that it was the grand opening and understand the chaos of the first day but disappointed that the quality really wasn't the same as the other locations.

If you want better than typical chain pizza, Makers is a pretty good option as a treat. We ordered two large pizzas and an order of garlic fingers and it came out to about $100, so definitely not on the budget side. Everything tasted amazing though, and the crust was very nice. The portion size is also really big - this was enough to feed 4 people. The pizza was oily, so wouldn't recommend it for people that are overly health conscious. Would really describe this place as a good treat option.

Just as delicious as there other locations!!! A bit pricey for pizza but this is not your everyday pizza! And don’t throw away that crust! Most crusts are doughy and only edible with dips but not this one. And don’t forget to download the Maker Pizza app and order ahead of time

It’s Been 3 years since, I have been to Maker Pizza and When I heard there was a Grand Opening for the Thornhill Location. Which is closer to home I had to bounce on the opportunity to try it again. My usual is the Dr. Pepperoni or The Return of The Mac. Though this time I tried the Spicy Pep God. I loved every bite of the pizza with kick of the chilli flakes. I always love the dough and how tender and delicious it is. I found the pizza the same and consistent as always.

I was so excited to try this new pizza place that just opened up by my place. It’s a bit pricey, but wanted to give it a try. It sure was a disappointment. The crust all around our pizzas were burnt, but the middle was either under cooked or soaked in oil. It made the pizzas super soggy. I got the mushroom and pepperoni one, both were just super salty, and not much flavours as described. I’m not sure if that’s what their pizzas are like or I just got a badly made one, but it wasn’t my cup of tea, especially for $35/ pizza….

Omg, this is my new favorite pizza place. We had the "white pizza, with added homemade sausage". At first I was sad at the large outer crust, but... Oh boy was I wrong. I'd actually want a garlic bread like that. They are still new, I hope they don't change anything. Best part it's walking distance from me. Sorry dominoes, good bye.

First time in my life throwing away pizza that I ordered. Could not physically finish to eat the pizza or the wings. I was recommended this place by a friend and I really wanted to try it I got to say I'm really disappointed let's start with the fact that it's ridiculously expensive, I've ordered the large pizza that was the size of a medium and one portion of wings and it cost me $56! Freaking $56 for 1 pizza and wings. After receiving the pizza I noticed that it's definitely not as is described on the website, there's barely any meat on it and zero mozzarella cheese although it says it should have. I called the franchise to let them know their answer was yes we don't put a lot of meat on the pizza but they charge premium for that they told me there is mozzarella under everything else I did not find it basically they told me c'est la vie do whatever you want. I definitely want not to buy there again and I with recommend you to do the same overpriced and underperformed food and service

The Frank’s Best pizza. caramelized onions, goat cheese, grass-fed mozzarella, rosemary, sea salt, organic honey, sesame crust. Ask for the everything bagel seasoning on the crust instead. It’s insane. Bonus: This location has tables for indoor seating too.
