One of the best restaurants in Calgary! Beautiful view, Flavorful food cooked freshly with top notch, and Attentive & Thoughtful service! We have been there for two times, and enjoying every single time. The restaurant was so comfortably set up and cozy. Although people surrounded you might be a little bit closer to your table. However it actually made you felt like you were enjoying the food with them together without any interference. The food was prepared from the scratch with the authentic ingredients and cooked perfectly. Definitely we will go back there. I would also wish you could go! Highly recommended!
Outstanding food and service! Chicken wings were perfectly smoked. The duck was quite possibly one of the BEST things I've ever eaten, tender and flavorful. The cod was buttery tender and full of flavor. Service was fast and attentive, but not annoying. The anniversary card signed by the staff was a nice touch.nnThe view was pretty good too.
We recently visited Major Tom and we thought the experience was good. The view is nice if they allow you to sit beside the window cannot reserve it ahead of time, just have to hope it’s available when you get there. The cocktails were tasty however they didn’t have much of a selection of wines by the glass. We got various things on the menu; the steak was delicious, the fries were standard, the pasta was good but a little to firm to the bite for us, the salmon crudo was fresh, the beets as well as the mushrooms weren’t tasty at all. The service can be a little slow however it seemed to be quite busy when we visited. Overall it is a must visit when you come to Calgary.
Looking for a fancy restraunt for a date night? Major Tom is a fabulous choice!nnThe experience from the moment you reach the top floor is fantastic. All of the servers are knowledgeable and prompt, and the food is amazing! The two-piece sharing bites were fantastic and everything came out in waves so you could enjoy each course.nnThe highlight was the Baked Alaska dessert at the end that was absolutely beautiful and tasted even better.
