Our first time at this location was fantastic. Loved the patio and the specials! Really great pricing and atmosphere. Our server, Brittany, was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was top notch. I asked for both food and beverage recommendations and she was insightful and genuine about both, in my opinion. She recommended the chicken avocado club and I loved it. The sweet potato fries were great and portion sizes were good too.nnFood was fantastic and the drink menu is really fun and interesting! I’ll definitely be back!! Thanks Brittany and team!
I was my first time coming here to eat. We've been greeted by lovely Daniella. She explained to me the menu and answered my questions with excellence and knowledge. Her tone of voice and demeanor is extremely friendly and she was able to build great rapport with her clients and added a great sense of humor. I'm glad that she was the one who served us that night. She is a true epitome of a person who is working on her profession. Her co-workers should imitate her charisma and friendliness towards customers.nnBest,nnormanfromgoodlife :-D
We love coming to Hudson’s for their Wednesday wing night & chicken tender Tuesday specials. The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is very much what you want from a pub style venue. We have had Brittney as a server a few times and she’s always been wonderful, super friendly, speedy, and checks in with us often throughout the meal. She truly elevates the experience.
Decided to visit Hudson’s since I haven’t been in a very long time and wow was it a disappointing experience.nCame for wing night. Received the most disappointing boneless wings. Got 6 boneless hot wings that were sooo tiny. Disappointing as they’re still $8.99 a pound. We also asked the server how large a poutine was and if it was enough for two people. She said it’s huge and will fill you real up. As you can see from the photo it was very small. Maybe had about 18 fries if that. It was cold and didn’t even melt the cheese curds.nThe server wasn’t great. She couldn’t answer any of our questions. She didn’t know what the drink special was. She gave false information about the poutine. Safe to say I won’t probably be visiting Hudson’s again for a long time if again.
We’ve been to Hudson’s on a number of occasions in the past- my go to place for the best beef dip anywhere because of the quality and quantity of the beef, dip and fries.nNot tonite though! The server certainly not in her happy place. She really needed to put on a happy face.just plain grumpy.nShrinkflation has certainly hit Hudson’s. The size of bun, portion of the beef, fries and even dip was cut back by 1/2 as compared to previous visits. Quality of the beef not nearly as good. At one time the fries were fresh cut but not now. I expected more for $22.75!nMy son ordered a steak sandwich for about $25.nCame with a very small serving of frozen to cooked fries and a steak the size of golf ball. Its size looked ridiculously small beside the bun. Doneness was ok but the beef portion laughable.nOverall a surprisingly disappointing dining experience.
