I returned here after a decade and was very glad I did. The beer was great, the food tasty and done just right and the waitress was super attentive and friendly. When I visit this part of Calgary in future, I'll be back at Dixon's.nnHighly Recommended!
The place is really cozy and cold, especially during this summer season! It's a good place to relax and eat delicious foods. Will sure back here all the time.
Dixons has very average pub food but the price is quite low for what you pay so the value is a fair trade off. The decor is really cool and the service is alright. I had a Nashville hot chicken sandwich, it could have been a bit spicier, but overall the taste was ok. The fries were nice and crisp.
Really dig the interior of the pub, if you're drunk enough you'll feel as if you're inside a ship. Good food deals, ample seating, pool table+ slot machines really brings the place together. Great hang out place with friends or co-workers
Cute little place, nice that it’s open late. The food is pretty good. Service is just alright. I was here with a good girlfriend of mines so the ‘barely there, bare minimum service’ was bearable. Can’t say I can say the same if I was with someone I didn’t know as well. Our main server seemed very uninterested in even communicating with us. Giving a good rating because the other servers we interacted with were alright and the overall atmosphere of the location was good.
