Tavern on the Hill. Excellent pop-up tavern for Canada's 150. We watched the sunset while enjoying a beer and listening to live music. They only have hot dogs but they was a wide selection of toppings and they were very good.

It all depends on the day and what you are doing... Tulip festival, great. Canada, great. Photographer trying to catch the Parliament Buildings, great. Other events, great. Otherwise it's just an average downtown park. The views of the river etc are the best part and make it worth a visit.

Gorgeous views. Lots of beautiful flower beds. Fun and educational statues and signs. I would recommend using the cities tourist app and learning even more about the history behind the many statues featured in the park.

If you are a tourist to our city, this is a must go area, especially being so close to Parliament. You get fantastic views, and its usually pretty vibrant in this area. Especially during the Tulip-Festival

Love the views of Gatineau over the Ottawa River. Beautiful for watching the sunset or fireworks during special occasions!
