Very nice open green space to just sit and relax in the midst of Ottawa downtown area. Has a beautiful fountain in the middle. Great for clicking pictures. Musical festivals and Winterlude is setup here every year. Saw a lot of pretty ice sculptures at the Winterlude this winter and the DJ playing at the event was quite amazing as well.

Pretty green area located near The Rideau Centre and Elgin street. This is a common area with a fountain (great for photos) to sit and have a coffee or eat your lunch in the warmer months. Sometimes homeless people are sleeping on the benches but that’s common in big cities.

Poutine Fest once a year. This was great. Not nearly enough seating but it was nice enough to pull up some grass or sit in beer tent.

Nice park to spend summer days in, and view the fall colours. The occasional weird person might be spotted, but nonetheless a refreshing oasis in the middle of Downtown Ottawa. Watch out for musical programs and the Winterlude, where this park transforms into the Crystal Garden.

The park is beautiful, and right in the middle of downtown. Large area with lots of trees, and right next to the rideau canal! They have tones of events going on here throughout the year as well!
