Canadian Tire

Terrible service yesterday morning.nI don’t know if it’s because my first language it’s not French, that I am not white, or my age…but the older woman at the customer service counter went out of her way to not be helpful and even lied in order to prevent me from getting a refund. I know she lied because the couple in front of me who were native French Canadians and more around her age, she was more than happy to go out of her way to help find the receipt in her systemwhich they didn’t keep, yet for me she said “ca ne ce fait pas, on ne fait pas ça. No receipt no refund.” The couple in front of me was a very expensive return they had no receipt for; My item didn’t work, but was only $10, so fine. It’s the fact she went out of her way to be unhelpful and lying about their own policy which is written on the back of their receipts to make sure I lost.

Possibly the worst retail experience that I've ever had. Every time I go, and I no longer go very often because my experience has been so terrible, there are problems. Find somewhere else to shop.

Big place for outdoor activities things

This Canadian tire is a war zone it’s not even funny! There is overstock everywhere and it’s blocking everywhere. It not professional and un acceptable for a store from such a huge chain be like that. I’ve never seen anything like this not even in the worst areas of Quebec. Very unacceptable especially since I saw in the reviews that it’s been like that for months.

Worse customer service ever! I needed help with something and tracked down an employee walking down an aisle I told her I needed help and she literally shouted it won’t be long in French without looking at me. At the cash she was irritated because I wanted to scan my Canadian Tire card and looked like she was having a bad day as well. The only person that is pleasant is a young man that helped me in between helping others. He’s apparently the only one working there and is always very pleasant.
