Maiden Rock Bluff

Lovely hike! Keep walking until you can see the highway and railway. We took the path next to the "no ATV" sign.

Gorgeous view and worth the short hike, but with the removal of all the trees and such, not a pretty hike right now. Trust that will improve with time. Lots of great wild flowers and birds!

There are many good trails in this area, along with a great place to eat and have a picnic. I would definately recommend coming here. However, there isn't really a clean bathroom, so there is a small problem there.

I grew up in Maiden Rock , been to the "bluff" many many times. All of the photos are wonderful, yes do visit the area, it's very unique!!

As a previous reviewer noted, "NOT a park". If you're looking for swings and a picnic area, no. It is a natural area, preserved from development. It looks like there was a farm there once- an old barn near the parking area, and maybe an old orchard near the bluffs? It's beautiful, we hiked in (there was a trail through the snow) to the bluff on a rare warm day this Spring and saw a wonderful view of Lake Pepin.
