Hok-Si-La Municipal Park and Campground

Quiet and relaxing place to spend the day. Good place to let the kids burn off some energy as well. Large beach that has some agate picking potential.

We enjoyed our stay here but if we go back, will stay in the G or N sections which are much more secluded and quiet than the A section which was more crowded and noisy. The beach is fantastic but the sand is a little sharp so water shoes would be good to bring. The staff is very helpful and responsive, when we did have a noisy neighbor issue it was handled right away. My kids loved the basketball court and playground.

Very clean and nice campgrounds. Friendly staff, great beach, great park. Amenities available for purchase at the office. Be prepared for a bit of walking, as cars are only permitted on site for loading and unloading. Otherwise they must be kept in the parking lot.

Love this space! Beautiful area with attentive caretakers. Looking forward to spending more time here.

This is a great park for a family picnic a family family reunion, or swimming at the beach. It has bathroom facilities with showers. You can also Camp there. And the setting is very beautiful many mature trees surrounding the area along with the main attraction the Mississippi River
