I've been here a couple of times and I always get the ribs and I've never been disappointed. The price is right at 30$ and the drinks are decently priced too, and they always had a seat for us quickly even without a reservation. Better than the Cage which is right beside and always completely booked. Service is very fast too and the staff is always very friendly. If you are attending an event at Bell Center, Madison's is the place to eat
The salmon tasted a bit bland and dry. However, the service was courteous. Their burgers were tasty. The chicken fingers were pretty good too. Don't go for the mac and cheese.
Excellent place right in the middle of downtown Montreal. It's across from the street from the Bell Centre so the place is pretty busy when the Canadiens are playing. The food is very good, the service is friendly. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
My husband and I went to Madison's before the Bill Burr show last night with another couple. We were seated quickly and overall the speed of the service was fine given that it's the night of a show. Our waitress was nice as well as the rest of the staff. My complaint is my meal. I ordered grilled salmon, which came my choice of two side orders vegetables and my choice of potato. I don't like potatoes so I asked if I could have more vegetables instead. The salmon was fine ... but it was on a bed of edamame? Edamame isn't a vegetable. Usually "vegetables" means steamed vegetables broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, maybe asparagus depending on the place. Then when I asked where my "extra" vegetables were, they brought out another bowl of - you guessed it - edamame. We started to say something to the manager but we were already running late. It's just such an odd side dish that's supposed to represent "vegetables". I go to restaurants a lot and I've never had this issue. Another issue is that my husband was served his vodka/soda in a tall glass instead of a regular glass. I understand they ran out of glasses but they basically watered down his drink. It would have been better to give the club soda on the side.
We had a happy hour as a big group and the venue was enticing and classy. The restaurant management could have done a better job with noting down the details of our reservation and handling the discontentment with a higher level of courtesy. The restaurant was almost empty, but there was some antsy scrambling over how to accommodate our group, which tarnished our experience. It was rectified by the professionalism and graciousness of our waiter, Charlotte, who made us feel welcome and served us relentlessly with a smile and ease. Thank you for making our evening, Charlotte!
Big restaurant near the Bell Center, stopped in for lunch while downtown. It was pretty quiet, we had a couple of salads for a quick lunch. Service was quick and attentive. The chicken salads were very good the topped with a strawberry dressing.Food: 5/5
It was my first time at this Madisons, and it was just as great as the one we go to in Ottawa. The service was fantastic, food was great. We were a large group, and they went above to make us feel welcome. I love it when you are not rushed. Definitely will go again.Food: 5/5
The women owner very rude no class at all told us what important too us is the turnaround no class at all doesn’t deserve too be à Madison owner very disappointed the staff members were kind of embarrassed of there boss being like that she should keep out of the business and not be there cause that night people were just getting up and leaving cause of the owner women owner honestly you want you business to got well you should. It be there or not be in business at all very disappointed but staff members were great
Perfect if you're downtown and needs a place to take your out of town colleges. Not surprisingly quite expensive, but what you pay for is 100% professional serive and no surprises. Bring the people, get the service, and pat yourself on the back for a good choice.Service: 5/5
Arrived for dinner on a game night, expected a wait, but not over an hour for a burger and roasted chicken breast. 4 other tables around us were seated, served and paid there bill all after we ordered and never got our dinner. We asked the waiter several times and was only given an “I’ll check on it. It will be out soon.” After an hour and 15 minutes of waiting after we ordered we walked out. Will never go back or recommend. I understand Montreal game nights are busy, but that is ridiculous.
