If you were reading this, you were probably curious why I gave it 2 stars. The reason I gave 2 stars is because I had to take a cold shower 2 out of the 4 mornings I have stayed at this hotel. I took a cold shower because the water would never warm up even after being incredibly wasteful and letting the water run for around 15 minutes like I was told to. I talked to the hotel staff and they had maintenance look at it. They stated the water temperature was 112° at max heat in the middle of the day when no one else was showering. That is not hot for hot water. I was also told the reason that I am taking cold showers is because other people are also showering in the hotel at the same time. I cannot imagine that the hotel is unaware that there are a hotel full of people taking showers in the morning and not preparing accordingly with proper equipment. If I am fortunate enough to be able to choose a different hotel next time I come here for an epic conference I will. However, hotel rooms are difficult to get for the epic conferences so you have to take what you can get.
Staff was very helpful and professional, but could have done a better job communicating. For example, did not make it clear that breakfast is not included. Now I'm out 16 dollars for some dry potatoes. They just tell you at the beginning what time breakfast is and that it's all you can eat, which I feel implies that it comes with the room, especially when many Marriotts offer this, and the quality of the breakfast makes charging 16 dollars feel ambitious to say the least. However I cannot stress enough that the staff were pleasant and professional.
Always a great hotel and venue for the WBA Awards, lots of places to enjoy from the hotel bar to areas where you can get work done and the rooms are always clean and well-appointed. Sandy was awesome checking me in and many hours later was still chipper and friendly when I was buying late night chips and drinks. Always enjoy my stay here.
I came here for a work conference and experienced truly some of the best service in such a long time. The rooms are awesome, they are up to date, clean and you have a really unique view of the inside rather than just a bunch long hallways. Oh and the elevators are super fast! After a day of meetings, we all gathered at the bar where Krista just killed it! She was almost as enthusiastic as me I was drinking haha and kept up with all the drink requests, and did it all really fast and professionally! We were all sad to see her go! Because we were having fun and didn't want to keep other guests up, we moved to a different area and Jennifer was really helpful and kind when I had questions or requests. I really really appreciate these two women. I look forward to coming back here next year and for many years to come!
We were here for an event with family and ended up having a special request later in the evening. Sandy, the front desk manager and the other front desk staff, Cilai and Engelbert made it happen and we are so grateful. Awesome customer service and I can’t give them enough props. Thank you so much!
