Mackinac Island Winery

I felt like I was bothering the employees wanting to sample wines (myself) and beer (my husband). Not friendly or helpful with the selections. They were out of 3 of the 6 wines I wanted to sample as well.

This huge wine and beer store is a great place to stock up on provisions during a visit to Mackinaw City or the island. With a huge selection of local craft beer and wine, you’ll find something for any taste here. There are even wine and beer tasting available inside. The friendly staff will be happy to help you with suggestions or to find anything you’re looking for. The selection of local craft beer highlights the great hops grown in Michigan and are perfect for warm summer days.

My husband and I went to a wine tasting at the Mackinaw Island Winery and enjoyed many wines. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful. We left with 6 bottles of wine. I have already picked a couple favorites and am concerned about running out since there isn't a web-site to order from. If your in Mackinaw City and love wine it would be a big mistake not to stop by for a tasting.

If you are looking for a beer, you can probably find it here! Amazing selection. Had an impressive selection of wine too, even harder to find Michigan wines.
