Dixie Saloon

This place is a must see if you are in the area! The inside woodwork alone is worth the trip! The service was good, the food arrived in a timely manner, and it was hot when it arrived! The only problem I had was getting the local White Fish platter on our 1st trip there... Once I switched to steak on the 2nd trip, all was forgiven! I highly recommend the dining experience!

Very cool place right on the water with wonderful views. Delicious food, great service! All wood interior inside that looks like a boat. You can write on the walls and beams and tables as well to commemorate your trip! A little pricey, expect to pay over $20 for most meals, $10-$15 for sandwiches / burgers. A nice bar, and televisions everywhere. Definitely recommend this place.

Nice atmosphere and it ends there. Overpriced food and slow service when the place was empty. If you want to spend your paycheck on a nasty dinner then you've hit the jackpot!

This is a great place to eat in mackinaw city. The food has never been bad and the people are Great and so friendly. The atmosphere is very cool too. Only fall back was when I visited in the winter due to the fact the place was a little cold. Other than that definitely a must try.

When I visited Mackinaw City for my first time I had no idea where I should have gone to eat. Luckly me and my significant other choose the Dixie Saloon and it was a great choice. The food was amazing. I had the fish sandwich and he had one of their burgers. We did have to wait for a bit but when were seated the staff was welcoming and caring. If I ever go to Mackinaw City again I am definitely going here.
