Even though there was a long line up, everything just kind of fell into place once we got inside and started ordering our food. Service was remarkably fast. Tables cleared up quickly. Once people were done eating they would clean up and leave promptly so others could sit and enjoy the food as well. We ordered the poutine, chicken sandwich, and finished off with a small flan. Portions are massive, listed at a great price. Can't wait to visit again. so

Ma Poule Mouillée is an absolute staple in Montreal for Portuguese chicken, and it never disappoints! The portions are generous, the flavors are amazing, and the prices are refreshingly reasonable—thank you for staying somewhat affordable in today’s world.nnThe place is quite small, so don’t expect much seating. We opted for takeout, and it was perfect. One thing to keep in mind is that street parking can be limited at times, so plan accordingly. If you’re craving some delicious Portuguese chicken with great value, Ma Poule Mouillée is definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

The moment I came inside to restaurant, the smell of the roasting of the chicken made me salivate. I didn't know what to choose because everything looks good. Someone suggested the #8, the Portuguese poutine. It's was delicious! The chicken with choriço, the cheese curds, and sauce were divine. I have to come back and try the rest.

Recommended by Canadian friends, we tried this highly reputed Portuguese restaurant, and we were not disappointed by the excellent poutines and chicken sandwiches! The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The salads are also of good quality. So, the quality/price/quantity ratio is unbeatable in the city.nnExpect a bit of a wait 30 minutes during lunchtime. There are few seats inside, but good weather allows for takeout and a meal at La Fontaine Park, which is just next door.nnI highly recommend it!

I came to this place because some people were saying it’s better than La Banquise, and it’s right across the street. This place also gets very busy during peak eating times.nnTheir poutine is unique, with generous portions and fresh Portuguese rotisserie chicken and chorizo. The flavor here is very unique and very different from other poutines I've had. Make sure to eat this fresh because there's a lot of gravy and sauce, which will make the fries extra soggy if you bring it home or wait too long.
