As a lover of Portuguese chicken, I had to try this place and I was not disappointed. The poutine is hands down one of the best deals in the city. The portion size was huge easily two full, delicious meals, and the flavor balance was spot on. I expected something heavy or greasy, but even with the chorizo, it wasn’t overly fatty at all just perfectly rich and flavorful. The chicken itself was excellent, and the service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fresh, modern twist on classic poutine.

Of the 5 or 6 poutine I had around Montreal, this was an excellent spin on the classic with a very flavourful gravy. Would definitely come back and eat it again. A lot of reviews said the large is enormous and can feed 3 or 4 people so I’m sad to admit I pretty much finished the entire large to myself in one go! Very good stuff. Give it a go.

Friendly, laid-back staff despite the busy atmosphere. I asked for no fries and just salad but I still got fries. My chicken thigh and leg were moist and flavorful; my wife’s chicken breast was tasty but dry. After a 45-minute wait, the food was good but not exceptional. Nice area, good bang for your buck and so I would recommend-worth visiting.

There’s always a lineup as it’s quite popular, and there are limited seats in the restaurant. Take out is probably your best bet. The portions are big, but luckily they also sell a smaller sized portion. It is mainly Portuguese style chicken with chorizo on a poutine. It’s good if you enjoy this type of poutine.

I finally had the chance to try the famous Portuguese poutine and it did not disappoint! The staff were super friendly and hardworking, and the moment you see the lineup, you know you’re in for something special. This is easily one of the best take-out spots in Montreal. The chicken was plentiful, moist, and roasted perfectly to lock in both flavor and freshness. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!
